We are honored to announce that Arena Fitness Dojo housing Arena Aikido Club, and Wushu Arena Philippines have been officially recognized as a LUZON FINALIST for the Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards (TOUSA) 2026: Recognizing the Changemakers of Tomorrow.
This recognition was awarded for our organizationβs contributions toward advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through community-based martial arts, inclusive movement programs, youth development, disability inclusion, wellness education, and lifelong learning.
Over the past few years, our mission has remained simple:
Movement Is for Every Body.
Through Aikido, Wushu (Kung Fu), Taichi, and community outreach programs, we have worked to make movement accessible to:
β
Children and youth
β
Working professionals
β
Senior citizens
β
Neurodivergent learners
β
Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
β
Complete beginners seeking a healthier lifestyle
This recognition follows a year of meaningful milestones for our community:
π₯ First Philippine member organization recognized by the Martial Arts Coalition for Sustainable Development (MCS)
π Featured Project Speaker at the 2026 UN ECOSOC Youth Forum Virtual Side Event
π 30 medals won by Team Philippines at the 21st Hong Kong International Wushu Championships
π Community programs promoting health, inclusion, education, and sustainable development through martial arts
While we are grateful for this recognition, our work is far from finished.
Our goal has never been simply to produce champions.
Our goal is to create spaces where people of every age, ability, and background can discover confidence, belonging, wellness, and purpose through movement.
Thank you to our students, families, coaches, partners, mentors, and supporters who continue to believe in this vision.
The journey continues.
