Para di antukin. 😅

Last workday of the year. 💻👩‍💻

Not everyone begins life with the same footing. For some, the path is guided—supported, prepared, and protected.
For others, the world arrives first, long before the tools to face it are fully formed. 😥

Which is why I will always be grateful to God for leading me to this industry—one that offers equal opportunity, even to those who started with less. 🥹🥰

A space free from stereotypes, where background does not define worth, and where you are allowed to become someone, even when the world once saw you as no one. 🙏🥹

A place where merit speaks louder than labels—where voice, talent, and identity are given space to exist, grow, and matter. 🫡

Indeed, God has never failed to make us feel how great His mercy and love is. For He opens doors where there seemed to be none, and shows us a path where growth is possible, even when beginnings were humble. ✨

As 2025 draws to a close, I am taking the time to pause, reflect, and appreciate the clarity I have gained—understanding what truly matters, how I want to spend my time, and the direction I wish to take in the year ahead.

My hope for 2026 is to step forward deliberately, to nurture growth that feels true, and to build a life and work that mirror the understanding and insight this year has offered. 💪

Happy New Year and Happy Online Freelancing, Remote Work Friends! 🎆🎆🎆

Is it just me, or does keeping the space clean make everything feel lighter? ✨

There’s something refreshing about walking into a tidy room—like the day hasn’t even started, but it’s already being kind. 🌿

It makes me want to show up better, do the work well, and enjoy the quiet in between. ☕️📘

Due to the weight of adulting 🧠, there are times when I can’t help the sleepiness from creeping in while I’m working. 💻😴
So to stay alert, I need something to keep both my mouth and stomach busy.
Popcorn’s usually my go-to snack. 🍿
It’s light, low in carbs and calories.
If I weren’t working from home 🏡, I’d probably be forced to buy unhealthy instant food somewhere. 🍔🍜

Which is why I’m grateful for this job as it allows me to have more choices, not just in food, but in the way I want to live my life. 🌱❤️

We’re going to interview an applicant today.
And because we want to set a good example, we also come prepared.

I may just be wearing a regular shirt, but I made sure it’s neat and appropriate.
I also put on a bit of makeup 💄 and made sure my office is well-lit 💡—because yes, even in remote interviews, presentation matters.

Showing up prepared for an interview is just as important for remote jobs as it is for corporate, in-person ones.
As they say, first impressions last—and how you present yourself says a lot about how you’ll work. Professionalism shouldn’t change just because you’re behind a screen.

If you want to ace your next remote interview, be mindful of these:

✅ Dress appropriately – You don’t need to wear a full suit, but choose something neat and presentable. Even in a remote setup, how you look reflects how seriously you take the opportunity.

✅ Check your equipment – Test your internet connection, camera, and microphone ahead of time. Make sure your camera is at eye level and your audio is clear to avoid technical distractions during the conversation.

✅ Choose a quiet, well-lit space – A clean background and good lighting make a big difference. Position yourself where your face is clearly visible and where outside noise or interruptions are minimal.

✅ Be on time – ⏰ Logging in a few minutes early shows respect for the interviewer’s time and gives you room to settle in before the call starts.

✅ Research the company – 🔍 Familiarize yourself with what they do and the role you’re applying for. This allows you to tailor your answers and shows genuine interest in joining the team.

✅ Prepare your answers – Being yourself is important, but that doesn’t mean going in with a “bahala na” mindset.
Be intentional about how you present your strengths and experiences. If you’re not fully confident in expressing your thoughts, having a structure in mind can help you communicate clearly and confidently.

✅ Show enthusiasm – Look at the camera when speaking, listen attentively, and respond thoughtfully. This reflects not just confidence, but genuine interest and willingness to contribute.

✅ Maintain positive energy and good posture – Sit upright, keep a pleasant expression 🙂, and stay engaged throughout the call. Even virtually, your body language shapes how you’re perceived.

✨ Always remember, whether you’re in a boardroom or on Zoom, how you carry yourself speaks louder than your resume.

Good luck, fellow RPs!🍀😊
