MANILA, PHI | 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗔𝗘𝗞𝗪𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦- 𝗞𝗬𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗜
Our Grade School Girls Team has successfully defended its title and emerging as back-to-back champions in the Grade School Girls Division at the 2025 and 2026 National Taekwondo Championships.

Representing the team this year were Suissa Medela Tanchoco and Marianela Ortega. Tanchoco, who was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of last year’s Grade School Girls Division, once again secured another gold medal for the team.

Our Cadet Boys Team added yet another achievement to our growing list of accomplishments. After capturing the champion title in 2024, the team finished as first runner-up this year. The division was represented by Marcus Olsen Rona and Vaughn Jheric Gumayagay.

Despite several members of the team currently competing in South Korea, the athletes who remained in Manila still performed at their best.

JAKARTA, INDONESIA | Limitless Taekwondo congratulates Felicity Jana Castel, now a member of the De La Salle University Taekwondo Team, for securing the Bronze medal in the Senior Women’s -49 KG division at the 8th Asian Taekwondo Indonesia Open G-2 held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She advanced to the quarterfinal round after defeating her opponent from Hong Kong (2-0) in the Round of 16 before earning another victory over India (2-0) to secure a place in the semifinals.

Her campaign concluded with a hard-fought match against Japan’s standout Ruka Okamoto (0-2), who won the Gold Medal in the -49KG Category.

We would like to thank the Philippine Taekwondo Association for entrusting Jana with the opportunity to compete in the senior division and represent the country once again.

SEOUL, KOREA | Congratulations to our black belt students on their podium finishes at the 7th Kim Un Yong Cup International Open G-1, where they proudly represented the Philippines against athletes from all over the world. Held at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea on July 25, 2026.

More than the medals, we would also like to recognize our athletes who fell short of reaching the podium— Carmen Estefan Marianito bowed out in the Round of 16 of the Cadet Girls -47 kg division against a Korean athlete who eventually went on to win the gold medal.

And to Zaide Emmanuel Ravelo, II who opened his campaign with a victory over Pain, D. of Australia before facing Bakhramkulov, B. of Kazakhstan. Tough draw facing a two-time Asian champion in the Quarterfinals round.
