KIBUNGAN CROSS COUNTRY

Another batch of KXC Warriors just conquered one of the most challenging trails in the North the Benguet - Ilocos Sur - La Union tri-provincial trek.

This cross country trail has everything endless uphill and downhill, unli waterfalls, swaying hanging bridges, stunning rice terraces, and a breathtaking 360ยฐ view from the ridges. Itโ€™s tough, and tiring, but the mountains always make it worth it.

Thank you to everyone who joined and pushed through. You didnโ€™t just finish a trail you earned the title of KXC Warrior.
Until the next mountain calls.

Mt. Polis x Sagada

Mount Polis x Sagada Chill Camp โ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ•๏ธ
We had a chill camp at Mount Polis and enjoyed the breathtaking view of the Bauko mountains.
The next day, we went to Sagada to walk around town, visit famous spots, and enjoy local dishes.
Thank you to everyone who joined! ๐Ÿ’š

MAKTRAV: MT. MAKILING TRAVERSE DAYHIKE
Entry: Sto. Tomas Batangas
Exit: Los Baรฑos Laguna

The wait is finally over.

After being closed for almost six years, the Sto. Tomas Tourism Office has officially reopened the famous MakTrav trail of Mt. Makiling.

MakTrav is one of the most challenging dayhike traverses in Southern Luzon. The route tests your endurance and courage from the start. To reach Haring Bato and continue to Peak 2, hikers must pass through narrow rope segments and steep, exposed sections that demand full focus. Itโ€™s technical, itโ€™s thrilling, and itโ€™s not for the faint of heart.

The good thing about the reopened MakTrav is that the trail is now much safer. The local tourism office has installed more stairways, railings, and clear signage along critical sections. These improvements make the climb more manageable while still preserving the raw, challenging character that MakTrav is known for.

To Our First Group:
You made history with us. Thank you so much for your trust, energy, and determination. You are officially the first group weโ€™ve guided on MakTrav since it reopened. From the rope segments to the summit, you showed true grit and teamwork. Congratulations on conquering this classic trail!

Mt. Makiling via Sto. Tomas is back.

See you on the trails.
MakTrav is open. Are you ready?
