Kibungan Cross Country.
June 27-29.

Another batch of 13 strong mountaineers successfully conquered the famous KXC traverse, also known as Kibungan Cross Country, a tri-provincial trek crossing three provinces from Benguet to Ilocos Sur and La Union.

The trek proved challenging due to heavy rain after reaching Mt. Tagpaya, heading to the Tacadang community. The team's pace was slow, as we had to be cautious with our steps due to the slippery trail caused by the heavy rain and flood. A similar scenario unfolded on Day 2, after passing through Crying Mountains and descending to Litalit Trail, where the stairs leading to Licungan were particularly demanding.

Despite these challenges, we managed to complete the entire 3-day trek safely, thanks to God's guidance throughout the journey. Thank you to everyone for believing in yourselves and pushing through. Congratulations to all participants.I hope this hike creates lasting memories that will forever be etched in your minds. Thank you for joining us, and we look forward to our next climbing adventure together.
