FINALS
SENSE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS 105 - GRABOYZ 98
Sense Software Solutions displayed solid team play to subdue Graboyz, 105-98, and claim the championship of the inaugural season of your OEL Basketball League.
Finals Most Valuable Player Frank Enriquez went to work early, as he teamed up with Taks Santos and Anthony Wong to propel the Arnold Lanaria-led team to a 28-11 first quarter lead. Jeldan Mateo, Marlon Resurreccion and Dacx Dacanay had other things in mind for Graboyz as they slowly inched their way back and trimmed the lead to just a solitary point late in the fourth. Brainz Baleda, who was put in for the fouled out Santos, drained two crucial triples to give Sense Software Solutions enough cushion to weather the Graboyz's strong fight back. Enriquez capped his game long brilliance with steady free throw shooting in the end to keep Graboyz at bay and preserve the win. He finished with 26 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the champion squad of Coach Weng Fermil.
Mateo led Graboyz with 39 points while Resurreccion and Edgar Geronimo added 12 and 11 points respectively.
