When a survivalist tells you to save
because bad things will happen, you listen.
The Outdoor Boys YouTube channel, created and hosted by former traffic attorney Luke Nichols, is famous for its extreme wilderness survival, bushcraft, and campfire cooking. Nichols is widely known for testing his limits in harsh environments—particularly in Alaska—by relying on old-school survival techniques, self-built shelters, and foraging.
I had the privilege of interviewing Doc Pidlaoan, who has been practicing medicine since 2009 and has served as an internist for the past 10 years.
What makes his story inspiring is that he didn’t just study health and fitness he lived it. Through years of learning about the science of wellness, he applied those principles to his own life, becoming a true example of the healthy lifestyle he advocates.
A reminder that the best advice often comes from those who practice what they preach.
