Another valuable day of learning as MTJH Basketball Academy took the court against Xavier for a tune-up game.
Every possession challenged our decision-making. Every defensive stop demanded discipline. Every mistake became an opportunity to learn and improve.
This is why we compete—not simply to win games, but to develop players who remain composed under pressure, play for one another, and never stop growing.
A heartfelt thank you to Xavier for the competitive and respectful game. Iron isn't sharpened by standing alone—it grows stronger when tested against worthy competition.

When a child grows, the whole family notices.
This time, we hear from Anastasia, Atalia's sister, as she shares the changes she's witnessed since Atalia joined More Than Just Hoops Academy.
She describes Atalia as becoming more obedient, more focused, and better at managing her time—proof that the lessons learned on the basketball court can shape everyday life.
That has always been our prayer at MTJH.
We want every athlete who walks through our doors to leave with more than improved basketball skills. We hope they leave with stronger character, greater discipline, and values they can carry into their homes, schools, and future.
