While Coach Joshua Abella and Kyra Abella are out for the JJIF World Championships, our combined teams from FAMAS GYM, Power Bounz Fitness Center and Kamphuis-Fabricio Pasig represented Team Fabricio BJJ Philippines at the 2nd Relentless BJJ: Kids Edition. We are taking home hardware!

Coach Moe Adel earned the Coach of The Night. He and Arvy Gregorio took on matside duties for this event.

We would like to commend our young army of six, our coaches, teammates and ever supportive moms and dads in the team.

Our Junior Coach, Kyra Abella, finished 3rd Place in the 2026 JJIF World Cup U14! She finished with 3 of 4 wins against a division stacked with AJP and UAEJJF medalists.

We take pride in building athletes from the ground up, and leading by example.

Everyone has been prepping rly hard for Relentless BJJ: Kids Edition, BJJFP Nationals and the JJIF Youth Worlds, so yesterday we skimmed on the rulesets, high-percentage moves, the golden score, scoring opportunities, and lots of competition sim rounds.

Our very own Coach Josh Abella was privileged to be part of this year's referee team for the JJAU Asian Championship at Almaty, Kazakhstan! He is one of two Filipino referees who officiated in this continental championship.

We take pride in having coaches who serve as technical officials in the international circuit and keep the entire team knowledgeable with the rules of the sport.

This Sunday, we welcome Mizzy to her first Jiu-Jitsu class. We also welcome back Kyra, fresh out of her flight from the Asian Youth Championship in Kazakhstan.

Kyra Abella officially made her U16 debut in the JJAU circuit last week at the Asian Youth Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She bowed down after a tightly contested first match, and outplayed by the eventual Gold medalist, who is also an AJP Youth World champion from the host country. Tough lessons definitely learned, but great lessons learned still.

We are proud of you, Ate Kyra! Thank you for representing the country.

She is set to fight next in the JJIF World Cup U14 and JJIF Youth World Championships on August 1-5, 2026 in Abu Dhabi.

While Coach Josh and Kyra are out of the country for the Asian Youth Championships, one of our top competitors, Coach Derek Vergara, led this sunday's guard passing masterclass.

A huge thank you to our matside coaches, Moe, Josh, Darlen and Kyra, to all of our teammates who helped us prepare for this event, and to the parents in our team for the constant support.

We got 3 more competitions coming up this August, and we look forward to participating and sharpening our skills in these events.
