Last April 11, 2026, the Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo conducted the ‘Yakap ng Kalusugan’ Seminar, a half-day program that aims to equip our partner community, Brgy. Tumana, with the knowledge to navigate the GAMOT and YAKAP registration and benefits availment processes. 🏥

The PMSA also had the opportunity to invite Dr. Peter Kyle De Leon from the Marikina City Health Office and Mr. Jose Sidfry Panganipan from the PhilHealth Local Health Information Office in Fairview to provide the talk to our Tumana residents.

This initiative empowers the community by ensuring that primary healthcare services are understandable, fostering a proactive approach to maintaining well-being. ❤️‍🩹

The heart of our organization has always been the people of Barangay Tumana. Today, two of our partner families are in need of help after a fire recently broke out and affected their homes.

The Ateneo Blue Cross Unit, the PMSA’s established first-aid team, took a big step in strengthening their lifesaving skills as they underwent Occupational First Aid Training (OFAT).

Through hands-on drills and expert guidance, the Ateneo Blue Cross Unit enhanced their readiness to respond confidently and effectively in emergencies because every second counts when it comes to saving lives ❤️‍🩹
