IF this is what Chris McCullough can do with little preparation, imagine what he can accomplish for TNT with more.
After all, right in his first game, the returning PBA import dropped a game-high 24 points and missed a double-double by a rebound in the Tropang 5G’s 101-90 loss to Meralco in Game 4 of their 50th Season Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series.
“I’ve only been two days in practice, so tomorrow we're going to work on some things, but as I said, it's going to be worth it to come back Friday,” said McCullough, who also collected three blocks and two assists in 36 minutes.
The lack of preparation did show as he made just seven of his shots, missing all his five three-pointers, and committed four turnovers as the Tropang 5G lost control of the best-of-seven series that’s now back to square one, 2-2.
But everyone knows what McCullough, who last played for the Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards in the TPBL, can do when he’s in tip-top shape – when he led San Miguel to the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup title.
“This is my first time picking up a basketball in 13 days, so I'm still getting my rhythm, still getting my flow, but once I get going, it'll be scary,” the four-year NBA veteran beamed.
“It's taking one game at a time, we've got a game Friday, one game at a time, get a win, come back and that's it,” he added.

Through Every Downfall, He Stayed.
MITCHELL ROBINSON
The 36th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. Never the biggest star, never the main face of the franchise, but one of the few who stayed through it all.
He witnessed every downfall, every heartbreak, every painful season Knicks fans had to endure.
• 2018-19: 17-65 (15th seed) - Rookie season
• 2019-20: 21-45 (12th seed)
• 2020-21: 41-31 (First Round Exit)
• 2021-22: 37-45 (12th seed)
• 2022-23: 47-35 (Lost Eastern Conference Semis)
• 2023-24: 50-32 (Lost Eastern Conference Semis)
• 2024-25: 51-31 (Lost Eastern Conference Finals)
• 2025-26: 53-29 (Eastern Conference Champions)
From the dark years to the brightest moment New York has seen in decades.
He stayed loyal through the losses, the criticism, the injuries, and the constant changes around him. His minutes were sometimes limited, his role sometimes overlooked, but he continued doing the dirty work every single night.
Rebounding. Defending. Protecting the rim. Bringing energy.
Now, as the longest-tenured player on the current Knicks roster, Mitchell Robinson is finally going to the NBA Finals.
Hard work pays off.

WALA KASING PAKIALAMAN NG TEAM COACH YENG! 🤣
“Yung team niya, ‘di ko pinapakialamanan eh. Pakialamanan niya ‘yung team niya. ‘Wag niyang pakialamanan ‘yung team namin,”
“[Siya] nakikialam, mga governors, pinapakialamanan,” “Mag-trabaho na lang siya. Mag-coach na lang siya.”
