Nabiyayaan ng magandang panahon sa duration ng buong hike. Makulimlim na panahon sa Day 1 para di impyerno and ahon pa campsite.

"To our beloved mountaineers:

Please be advised that new climbing requirements for Mt. Guiting-Guiting Natural Park (MGGNP) will take effect this July 2026. These updates follow the directives discussed during the Special PAMB meeting on March 3, 2026.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 2026-010, Series of 2026 ("A Resolution Institutionalizing Policies and Guidelines on Stringent Climbing Requirements ffor Mt. Guiting-Guiting Natural Park"), the following regulations are hereby implemented to ensure safer and more regulated ascents.

1. Medical Certificate - 7 day validity including the day of examination and last day of the climb with wet-ink signature (e-signature is not allowed)

2. 1 Valid ID

3. Police Registration

4. Tourism Receipt

5. 2 Prior Major Climbs - official climbing certificates and photographic evidence showing the climber at the Summit

6. Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) - advisable but not mandatory

For locals with no prior major climbs, requirements are the following:

A. Camp 1 and Camp 2 of either Tampayan and Olango Trail - medical certificate

B. Mayo's Peak - medical certificate and certification from PAMO that the individual has successfully completed the Camp 1 and Camp 2 of either Tampayan and Olango Trail

C. Summit - medical certificate and certification from PAMO that the individual has successfully completed the Mayo's Peak twice.
