STAYING ALIVE! 🔥

The UP Men's Tennis Team defeated the UST Growling Tigers in game 2 of UAAP Season 88 finals series.

Lance Fernandez started the tir with an unfortunate loss to Tangub, 6-7, 0-6. Loucas Fernandez delivered an outstanding performance, dominating against Bacalso, 0-6, 6-4, 6-2. Aslan Carbonilla suffered a loss to Sonsona C, 0-6, 2-6.

In doubles, Miguel Iglupas and Raymund Goco fought hard against Bautista and Agustines, 4-6, 6-2, 11-9. Meanwhile, Andrei Jarata and Carl Tan won their match against Baid and Sonsona S, 7-5, 6-1, securing the win for the team tie!

The UP women's tennis team absorbs their first loss of the UAAP Season 88 Finals series against the NU Bulldogs 2-3.

Maria Divinagracia started the match strong against Carcueva securing the win, 7-5, 6-4. Paula Uy suffered a tough loss against Abadia, 4-6, 2-4. Jufe Cocoy put up a solid fight but ultimately fell to Abariquez, 1-6, 6-3, 1-6.

In doubles, Anica Cari and Sydney Enriquez fought hard against Cornel and Baulete, 6(10)-7(12), 4-6. Meanwhile, Marielle Jarata and Joshea Malazarte gets a win against Acabo and Carvajal, 6-4, 6-2.

A close fight that tested our heart and determination. We’ll bounce back stronger than ever.
