A Weekend in NYC with the Girls 🩰❤️ | Backpacking Ballerina Ep. 2

New York is always special, but somehow it becomes even more fun when I get to experience it with my girls. ❤️

For Episode 2 of the Backpacking Ballerina Diaries, spend a weekend in NYC with Ellie, Jala and me, from blueberry bagels by Lincoln Center, pointe shoe fittings at Bloch, ballet class at Steps on Broadway, leotard shopping (because obviously 🤣), lots and LOTS of walking, and an early morning photoshoot around New York.

One of my favorite parts about being a teacher is getting to watch my students slowly grow into the dancers and people they're becoming. Sometimes it happens inside the studio, and sometimes it happens somewhere halfway across the world. 🥹🩰

If I had unlimited time, an unlimited budget, and Doraemon's dokodemo door, I would honestly be at every single one of my students' summer intensives and performances. 😂 I was so sad to miss some of them this summer, but I'm very grateful I got this little weekend with these two. ♡

A little ballet, a little shopping, a lot of walking, and some very happy teacher moments.
Thank you for spending another little adventure with me. ❤️

MAIN STUDIO — AGP WEEK ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Parents and Dancers,

Please take note of the following schedule adjustments for AGP Week, as Teacher Lina and some of our dancers will be away for the competition.

Schedule & Group Variation Reminders:
* Aug 15 (Sat) — Regular classes will be held earlier according to the modified schedule.
No Group Variations.
* Aug 19 (Wed) — NO REGULAR BALLET CLASSES
* Aug 21 (Fri) — Level 2 and Level 3–4 will continue with Teacher Julio.
No Group Variations.
* Aug 22 (Sat) — Classes will continue according to the modified AGP Week schedule, including the CB2/Beginner Adult Combined Class.

All other schedules not specifically indicated as changed will remain the same.
