Dante Romero is the owner/club fitter of Max Out Golf Stix.
Max Out Golf Stix was established in 2007 after he completed a course in the Club Fitting/Club Making Training Program at the world-renowned GolfSmith Institute in Austin, Texas. GolfSmith was the largest club making company and supplier of club components, tools and equipment. He is currently a member of the prestigious GCA (Golf Club Makers Association of America).

In this summit, he found new approaches in club fitting. The first of these was bioswing dynamics taught by Mike Adams. Here he learned that one swing did not fit all players. A swing may work with one person but not with another, as there are lots of things to put into consideration when it comes to the golf swing. These are but not limited to height, weight, body composition, etc.
Back then, trial and error was done in order to find the swing or make golfers learn a swing that was said to be "the best". This consumed too much time and energy for the average golfer, which could make even the most aspiring golfer quit the sport. Bioswing dynamics removed such obstacles and its use of computers can pinpoint all the variables needed to create the unique swing of a golfer that can bring the game to a whole new level.
He also learned that junior golfers had to be nurtured well in order to achieve their potential. John Dunigan had placed much significance on coaching young golfers to achieve their utmost abilities. An aspiring young golfer without proper training, combined with the lack of deliberate practice, and motivation can destroy a possible hot shot in the world of golf. Talent had to be nurtured. All golfers need to have a great environment for learning and a superior coach to bring them to heights that the kids would never have thought was possible.
Golf analytics was something new and a radical method in viewing the game. Mark Broadie taught this since this was his brainchild. For him, the numbers were all significant in determining the overall performance and outcomes of a golfer in the game, that the long game is more important, and that putting being the most important thing in the game as simply being too mainstream. The traditional statistics of the game are placed away and the Strokes Gained method comes in. This method showed the difference of strokes between professional, amateur, and average golfers. Strategy is the key in getting lower strokes. Where your ball lands and how close your ball is to the hole in the green matter. Traditional game stats give you just a fraction of what is important and do not show your weaknesses and strengths. The Strokes Gained method points out everything a golfer needs to know in order to not repeat the same mistakes when playing his/her next game.

Mizuno Philippines Fitting Seminar 2017 with Edmund and Bernie Tan
At Wack Wack in Greenhills and LOGCOM in Camp Aguinaldo, Mizuno Philippines had fitting demonstrations, featuring their performance fitting system by Bernie Tan, the regional head for club fitting. It was also a simulation for club fitters on how to use the system in order to properly fit a golfer's irons.
The shaft optimizer of the fitting cart is a game changer in club fitting. It scientifically analyses the head speed, swing tempo, shaft toe down, shaft kick angle, and shaft release factor. The provided software of this device will recommend the best 3-5 shafts that best match your swing.
The Indian and Arrow in Golf
Within the context of the sport, the “Indian” is the golfer and the “arrow” is the golf club. One may argue that the golfer is not improving in his game due to his clubs not being suited for him, while another may argue that it is the golfer who is at fault, not knowing how to use the clubs at his disposal.
