Doc Armie Yuson (Happy Loner Traveller) Played at the WORLD PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP (WPC) 2026 REGIONALS!!!

After My Several Stints at PPF (PHILIPPINE PICKLEBALL FEDERATION) TOURNAMENTS in BOTH Years of 2024 up to 2025. I decided to pursue a heavier challenge at one of Asia's Most Prestigious Pickleball Tournaments, held by PICKLEBALL GLOBAL.

As a Dedicated Pickler Athlete aiming to reach its maximum potential, this is a huge exposure for me, a realistic classroom for me to encounter and learn more techniques & strategies for the hot pursuit in beating my Personal Best!

See you this year WPC BALI INDONESIA!!!

UPDATE: I did not win any podiums yet at the PPF and WPC as of the moment in the INTERMEDIATE & OPEN CATEGORY but that will be my Main Motivation!!!

For Reference: I AM A LOYAL SELKIRK PADDLE FAN since 2023!!! LABS PROJECT 007 is my paddle of choice in this WPC REGIONALS 2026 Tournament!

My 1ST INTERNATIONAL MARATHON here at BATANES, PHILIPPINES!!!

Thank you Batanes 360 International Marathon+ for making this Man's Dream come true!

I am a BiCyclist, not a Runner. I never experienced any running event in my entire Life up until today. This is why I am so nervous because it's a new & unfamiliar territory for me. Most Especially, that I am running together with Elite & Seasoned Marathoners from all over the World. Some of whom even joined the BOSTON MARATHON in the USA.

The Terrain is also not forgiving, not built for the Weak-Hearted or First Timers like me. There is literally NO FLAT SURFACE, all uphill & downhill because this is a Highland Area. The Air is very thin so I have to Acclimatize and it took me 6 days before the Marathon Event. The Temperature is similar to Baguio at 18 Degrees Celsius and the Wind is very strong due to the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) and with Batanes' Location just below Taiwan. This is definitely not a FRIENDLY MARATHON EVENT. it will have a devastating impact on your body when you haven't prepared for this.

Until now, I still feel strange and I don't know what came up on my mind as to why I joined an International Marathon Event with NO Single Running Experience or Training and it even happened in one of the most difficult Terrains in the Philippines, in BATANES!

But after all that has happened.. My Final Verdict in Claiming that Rewarding Feeling after you've crossed the FINISH LINE carrying the last ounce of your inner strength while distantly eyeing that Medal waiting to be worn around your neck. It is only then that you will begin to acknowledge what this is all for... Simply by just being "BEYOND GRATEFUL TO OUR LORD" for gifting us with this so-called LIFE..."

"GOD FINISHED THIS RACE FOR ME"

AUDAX RANDONNEUR 2025 - held in SUBIC on APRIL 26 is like the OLYMPICS of LONG DISTANCE CYCLING ENTHUSIASTS and it was my 1ST EVER BIG BIKE EVENT!

Under the Scorching Heat, it was not a joke! Health concerns such as dehydration & heat stroke is on the line. There even came a point that I am already near the finish line but my body suddenly gave up and so I PRAYED LOUDLY, declaring "LORD, I AM ONLY LIMITED, PLEASE SEND THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GIVE ME YOUR UNLIMITED STRENGTH!"

After that Prayer, the Skies suddenly became cloudy, as if someone has placed an umbrella over my head. My body & muscles has cooled off which is enough for me to push myself within those remaining 15 kilometers towards that finish line.

And when I got to the Finish, I wept & cried a little because I felt that personal fulfillment I have been longing to yearn in my bicycle career, it was my dream to join the AUDAX and GOD GRACED ME WITH HIS WISDOM to prepare my body the right way (pre & post hydration, full 10 hours sleep, long stretching & right linen to wear), experienced randonneurs giving me their advices to not pressure myself but instead enjoy the journey and the biggest factor that helped me a lot through the race was, one of my Cyclist Friend Ryan Roque's advice was to shower my whole body in the middle of the race with cold water, starting from the legs up.

GOD ALSO GRACED ME WITH HIS POWERS to finish what my limited body cannot. GOD Covered for me and truly, He did Finish this Race for Me! AUDAX 2025 SUBIC FINISHER!!! YEBAH! Thank you for sponsoring Armie's Travel & Tours!!!
