The 1st BLAZE Badminton Tournament was truly unforgettable, attracting players from across the province to compete for grand prizes and showcase their exceptional talents. Each participant arrived well-prepared, demonstrating their dedication and competitive spirit.

In the Intermediate Category for both Men's/Mixed Doubles and Women's Doubles, players exhibited remarkable grace and skill, with intense and captivating matches that highlighted their rigorous training.

The Advanced Category matches for Men's/Mixed Doubles and Women's Doubles were particularly exhilarating, showcasing advanced skills and making each rally a lively spectacle.

Although rain caused occasional interruptions and delays, the organizers worked tirelessly to ensure the tournament remained enjoyable for all. Players maintained a calm yet assertive demeanor, displaying exemplary sportsmanship and respect towards competitors, umpires, and organizers.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible. Your hard work and commitment have made the 1st BLAZE Badminton Tournament a resounding success.

TECHNICAL GUIDELINES:

SCORING:

In elimination rounds, the scoring system of 1-31 points (rally points) shall apply. Change ends at 16. No Deuce.

In Championship rounds, the scoring system of 1-21 points (rally points) 3 sets shall apply. With Deuce first to 30.

RESOLVING TIE:

If the two teams/pairs have won the same number of matches, the winner of the match will be ranked higher.

If the two teams/pairs have won the same number of matches, ranking will be stablished by the total points in lose matches.

If the two teams/pairs have won the same number of matches and have the same total points in lose matches. The two team/pairs will match for 1 point.

WALK-OVER:

A Five (5) minutes grace period on the scheduled match shall be given, otherwise the team/player shall be declared lose via walk-over.

PROTEST:

A protest or technicality will be settled at the level of the Tournament Committee.

UNFORESEEN EVENT:

The decision of the umpire on any disputes during the competition shall be final.
