Last October 24, 2023, the DOUS Sports fest was held, marking a day of camaraderie, skill showcase, and enthusiasm.

The activities started with an opening prayer and pledge led by Jesse Guillet, and opening remarks from the Sports Club Adviser, Dr. Romeo Opeña, who emphasized the importance of sports.

The first match was the mixed volleyball between Team 1 and Team 2. Team 1, comprising Jennie Copio, Zaira Nicole Natividad, John Lloyd Sanchez, Jericho Bautista, Elearn Ezra Pang-Ot, and Joswa Evangelista, faced off against Team 2, led by Venus Flora, Jocelyn Tumbaga, Jesse Guillet, Micheal Rimpillo, Jericho Balaguer, and Jasfer Lanang.

The close contest match showcased outstanding plays, with Jennie Copio's remarkable reception standing out. Despite their best efforts, Team 1 has lost to the skills of Team 2 in a lively encounter.

The friendly men's basketball match featured a clash between first year and second year students. With only two sets instead of the traditional four quarters, the game promised fast-paced action.

However, the tide turned in favor of the second years, led by the dynamic duo of Jasfer Lanang and Reymark Ferrer, both hailed as the standout scorers of the game. Despite a brave effort from the first years, especially Rodolfo Colcol and CJ Nicolas, the overall victory belonged to the second years.

The DOUS Sports Fest concluded with a sense of achievement and satisfaction. Beyond the scores and outcomes, the event achieved its goal of promoting unity, teamwork, and friendly competition among the students.
