It’s honestly hard to find the right words because how do you thank someone who has quietly carried so many people without ever asking for anything in return?

To us, you were never just a member of DAMLAW. You were our sister. The one who stayed when everyone else was tired. The one who answered the phone when someone needed to talk. The one who showed up, even on days when your own heart probably needed someone too.

You were always our one call away. Our go-to person. Our safe place.

And the truth is… there were times when we forgot to ask if you were okay. There were times when you were the one taking care of everyone, while no one noticed that you needed care too. But please know this now and always: everything you’ve done for this organization and for each of us has never been taken for granted. You have touched more lives than you probably realize.
