Built for athletes. Backed by purpose.

Every training session puts stress on your muscles. What you do after the workout matters just as much as the workout itself.
Comprex compression sleeves are designed with 15–25 mmHg graduated compression to support circulation and help athletes recover between demanding sessions—so you can stay consistent, train with confidence, and keep chasing your next personal best.

Because recovery isn't a break from performance.
Recovery is part of performance.

Your workout ends. Recovery begins.
Most athletes treat these as two separate events.

They're not.
The moment you rack the bar, drop the pace, or tap out — your body shifts from output to repair. Inflammatory markers rise. Venous return slows. Metabolic byproducts pool in fatigued tissue.

What you do in that window doesn't just determine how sore you'll be tomorrow. It determines how well you adapt — and whether Thursday's session builds on today, or just compensates for it.

15–25 mmHg of graduated compression isn't comfort. It's mechanical intervention. It accelerates venous return, reduces oscillatory muscle damage, and moves the clearance phase forward — so supercompensation happens on schedule, not behind it.

Your next PR is being negotiated right now.

This isn't a testimonial. It's a self-experiment with numbers.

Baseline HRV: tracked daily with [device]
Protocol: Comprex sleeves (15–25 mmHg) worn for 90 minutes post-session
Duration: 30 days

What we measured:
→ HRV recovery trend
→ Perceived exertion at comparable session intensities
→ Days-to-readiness after high-volume blocks

Results on screen. No exaggeration. No cherry-picking.

Why Compression is a "Top 3" Recovery Modality
Alongside protocols like cold water immersion and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), Garment Compression is considered a foundational pillar of elite athletic recovery.

Here is the short explanation of why:
Accelerated Venous Return: After intense training, metabolic waste (like blood lactate) pools in the extremities. Compression acts as an external "second heart," physically squeezing the veins to force deoxygenated blood and waste back toward the core to be filtered.

Reduced DOMS and Edema: By preventing fluid build-up (micro-swelling) in the muscle tissue, compression significantly reduces Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS).

Passive Recovery Efficiency: It requires zero central nervous system exertion from the athlete. They simply wear the gear while resting, making it a highly compliant and efficient biohack.

The Science of 15 to 25 mmHg:
The "Optimal Zone"
Not all compression is created equal. The 15–25 mmHg range is clinically recognized as the precise sweet spot for healthy, high-performing athletes.

Here is how and why that specific pressure works:
1. Overcoming Internal Resting Pressure (Why >15 mmHg is needed)
Standard off-the-shelf athletic wear often provides less than 10 mmHg of pressure. This is enough to feel snug, but it is clinically useless for recovery. To increase blood flow velocity, the external pressure from the garment must be stronger than the internal resting pressure of the superficial veins. It takes a minimum of roughly 15 mmHg at the ankle or wrist to effectively compress the vein walls and push blood upward against gravity.
2. Avoiding Arterial Restriction (Why

Graduated compression changes blood flow by applying higher pressure at the ankle and progressively lower pressure toward the calf and knee. This pressure gradient encourages venous blood and interstitial fluid to move upward, supporting circulation and reducing fluid accumulation.

How this may help recovery:
For athletes and active individuals, these hemodynamic effects can contribute to:
* Reduced sensation of muscle soreness (DOMS) after strenuous exercise.
* Lower post-exercise leg heaviness or fatigue.
* Faster restoration of muscle function in some studies, particularly when compression is worn for several hours after intense activity.
* Reduced swelling, especially after prolonged standing, travel, or endurance events.
