14th LCUAA National Games
Theme: Enduring, Empowering, and Exalting
October 19–25, 2025 | City College of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan

The wait is nearly over as 27 Local Colleges and Universities across the country come together to celebrate unity, sportsmanship, and excellence in the 14th LCUAA National Games. Hosted by the City College of San Jose Del Monte, this year’s national event promises a week filled with thrilling competition, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of victory.

From the adrenaline of basketball and volleyball to the grace of dance sport and the discipline of martial arts, the Games will feature 20 sporting events that embody the spirit of determination, teamwork, and pride among student-athletes.

As we gather once more under the banner of “Enduring, Empowering, and Exalting,” we celebrate not only the champions who rise but every athlete who dares to strive, persevere, and inspire.

‎The program opened with the Welcome Remarks from Mrs. Mactal, BECED Program Coordinator, followed by an Inspirational Message from Dr. Roger S. Ambida, CCSJDM President.

‎The event concluded with the Closing Remarks from Andrea Nicole Regueiro, President of the Education Society, highlighting the importance of responsive and innovative instructional design for future educators.

‎The seminar-workshop was designed to equip future educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies on differentiated instruction as a responsive approach to address diverse learners’ needs in the 21st-century classroom. It aimed to foster innovation in teaching and prepare education students for inclusive and effective instructional practices.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪

The Technical Budget Hearing (Executive Level) for the FY 2026 Budget Proposals is underway at the City Convention Center, running until August 30. Spearheaded by the Office of the Mayor through City Administrator Atty. Rizaldy L. Mendoza, the hearing gathers all LGU Department Heads, with the City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) also participating through College President, Dr. Roger S. Ambida.

The activity aims to ensure the proper allocation of resources, align departmental plans with the city’s development priorities, and promote transparency and accountability in fiscal management.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦

Another successful Students Orientation, this time for the students of Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC), was held by the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) this morning, August 28, 2025.

SAS Dean Ms. Rachel Ann S. Casido and College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida graced the event and left inspirational and moving messages of strength and resilience.

After the introduction of the BSEMC faculty and review of program policies, Student Animators and Game Developers Association (SAGA) took the stage and presented the organization's agenda and exciting announcements for future activities.

LCUAA Sports Committee Meeting

An exclusive assembly is being held by Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) Sports Coordinators for CCSJDM, led by Mr. Gilbert S. Ducusin together with Mr. Antonio Basco, the school's Soprts Club Advisor. Coaches and other key participants, including College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida, are also pitching in on the meeting to ensure smooth and clear planning.

Their main agenda is the final lineup of student athletes participating in the upcoming games, as well as paper work involved in the endeavor.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒

Students of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) were gathered in a special Student Orientation spearheaded by the School of Education of the CCSJDM this afternoon, August 27, 2025.

Dean Marylyn S. Anatalio gave a warm welcome to our future educators during her message while BECED Program Chair Ms. Maria Rosario S. Mactal poured encouragement to people in attendance. Introduction of new policies, academic activities, and introduction of new faculty members were the main agenda of the assembly.

The event was held in support of College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida and the BECED faculty members.

The School of Education welcomed students from the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) program this morning for an energizing Student Orientation. A review of program policies and announcements of future events were the highlights of the assembly.

Ms. Marina G. Mariñas, BPE Program Coordinator, gave an inspiring message to boost teaching passion among the aspiring educators. Also present in the event were Ms. Dean Marylyn S. Anatalio of the School of Education and the BPE faculty.
