Congratulations to our newest OA BROWN BELTS: Miko Dela Paz and Alex Formoso. Well deserved promotions with both coming off not only recent gold medal performances but more importantly years of bettering themselves and others through Jiu Jitsu.
As fate would have it, 7 black belts came in to train today and witness this momentous occasion 🙏🏾

Repost from Ma Debbie B. Medina.
Proud of Liam for showing exactly what martial arts should teach: confidence without aggression.
The fact that he casually dropped one of the coldest lines ever heard in a classroom is just a bonus. ❄️

Great effort also from Liam Medina who fell short of a medal but still stepped up and gave a great performance! As well as to everyone that wanted to compete but had no opponents 😅
Congratulations to everyone who stepped onto the mats and represented Origins Athletics with heart, grit, and sportsmanship.
Competition has a way of revealing both our strengths and the areas where we still have work to do. That’s exactly why we compete—not just to win medals, but to accelerate our growth. It was great to see so many clear improvements in everyone’s individual games, and we’ll take these lessons back into training.
On to the next one. 💪🔥
