BUILD YOUR FORM FIRST
No ring? No problem.
Master your shot mechanics anywhere.

Even without a hoop, you can train your shooting form daily.
Good shooters arenโ€™t just born โ€” they repeat great mechanics until it becomes natural.

๐Ÿ  Home Shooting Form Drill

1๏ธโƒฃ Wall Form Shooting

Stand 2โ€“3 feet from a wall.

Focus on one โ€œtarget spot.โ€

Shoot with perfect mechanics โ€” elbow under the ball, follow through, hold your form.

The goal: smooth, repeatable motion โ€” not power.

2๏ธโƒฃ Seated Form Shooting

Sit on a chair or couch, knees bent.

Practice your upper-body mechanics only.

Focus on straight wrist flick and arc.

3๏ธโƒฃ Mirror Reps (Confidence Drill)

Face a mirror.

Go through your shot motion 10ร— slowly, checking form: elbow in, off-hand relaxed, eyes up.

Repeat daily for 3 sets.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Do this daily for 10 minutes.
Confidence comes from knowing your mechanics are solid.

โ€œConfidence: The Hidden Skill Behind Every Great Shooterโ€

When we talk about shooting, we often talk about form, reps, range, and mechanics โ€” but the truth is, none of those matter if you donโ€™t trust yourself when itโ€™s time to shoot.

Confidence isnโ€™t built in the spotlight. Itโ€™s built in repetition, discipline, and the ability to trust your work.

Think about Klay Thompson. After a 941-day injury layoff, he came back and dropped 54 points in one game. Mechanics? Still there. But what really carried him was confidence โ€” the belief that his next shot would go in no matter how many he missed before.

Or look at Ray Allen in Game 6 of the 2013 Finals. One of the biggest shots in NBA history โ€” that corner three wasnโ€™t just muscle memory, it was poise. Ray didnโ€™t panic, didnโ€™t overthink. He trusted every hour he had ever spent on that shot.

Even local PBA sharpshooters like Marcio Lassiter or LA Tenorio show the same thing โ€” confidence doesnโ€™t come from talking big. It comes from doing the work long enough that your body shoots before your mind even has time to doubt.

Confidence is built when you:
โœ… Put in consistent, game-like reps.
โœ… Train your body to perform under fatigue.
โœ… Know your shot so well that pressure doesnโ€™t change your rhythm.

The best shooters donโ€™t shoot because theyโ€™re open.
They shoot because theyโ€™re ready.

So if you ever doubt your shot โ€” remember:
Confidence isnโ€™t magic. Itโ€™s preparation made automatic.
Train to earn it, not just feel it.

Gusto mong maging consistent shooter?

๐Ÿ”น Form Shooting (5 spots ร— 25 makes) โ€“ focus sa balance at follow-through
๐Ÿ”น Midrange Rhythm Shots (20 makes) โ€“ 1-dribble pull-up, both sides
๐Ÿ”น Pressure Free Throws (10 attempts) โ€“ imagine endgame situation

Do this every day for 2 weeks.

๐Ÿ’ก Confidence comes from consistency.
Hindi mo kailangan maging perfect shooter, kailangan mo lang maging ready every time you shoot. ๐Ÿ’ช

Kapag puro sablay ang tira, huwag magmadaling bumawi.
Hanapin mo muna โ€˜yung focus mo.

Remember this:
โŒ Donโ€™t rush the next shot.
๐Ÿ’จ Take one deep breath.
๐Ÿ” Reset your form.
๐Ÿง  Trust your routine.

Dahil confidence isnโ€™t about never missing,
Itโ€™s about bouncing back after every miss.

โžก๏ธ Follow for Part 3: The Confidence Routine ng mga Consistent Shooters.

08/10/2025

Pagod din โ€˜yung core, kaya mahirap panatilihin โ€˜yung balance at follow-through.

In order to be ballinโ€™, you must b-all-in.

Greatness doesnโ€™t come from half-effort or part-time commitment.

Itโ€™s about giving everything youโ€™ve gotโ€”your focus, your energy, your consistencyโ€”day in and day out.

When you go all in, you donโ€™t just play the game, you change it.

Donโ€™t hold back. Donโ€™t settle.

If you want to rise, sacrifice, grind, and believe with everything inside you.

Thatโ€™s how you truly become ballinโ€™โ€”by being ALL IN.

Want to shoot like itโ€™s really game time? Try this simple drill ๐Ÿ‘‡

Drill: 5 Spots with Closeouts

1. Choose 5 spots on the floor (close or far, depende sa level mo).

2. Make 5 shots each spot = 25 total makes.

3. Every shot is catch-and-shoot โ€” pero hindi laging perfect ang pasa sa laro, so vary the passes.

4. After each pass, do a quick closeout step to simulate defense.

5. Training alone? Spin the ball to yourself, then shoot with higher arc para parang real game.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Focus on quick release + balance = mas consistent ang tira mo under pressure.
