SHISOCHIN kata translates to "To Battle in Four Directions" or #
*toryukaratedo "Four Directional Battle," which means fighting opponents in all directions. It is a kata in Naha-te karate that incorporates powerful open-hand techniques, often compared to the movements of a mantis or tiger, and includes close-in fighting techniques such as joint locks.
"Shi": means four.
"So": means directions.
"Chin": means battle.
Combined meaning: "To Battle in Four Directions".
