The Surigao City Sports Council in collaboration with Surigao del Norte Volleyball Association recently organized a One-Day Volleyball Officiating Refresher Course, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge of local referees. The initiative underscores the council's commitment to promoting fair play and professionalism in sports officiating within the community. This is participated by club team representatives, association & organization presidents/officials, teacher-coaches in the Department of Education, volleyball players and enthusiasts. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, covering rule updates, officiating techniques, and practical scenarios. This endeavor reflects Surigao City's dedication to maintaining high standards in sports officiating, ultimately contributing to the overall development of volleyball in the region.
