beyond our shores, the goodness of the Filipino spirit is still very much alive.
Our Filipino community in Thailand showed this to us through their kindness and generosity toward Alester and Arvin. They did not only extend their help; they welcomed them, took care of them, and even took them around so they could experience Thailand beyond the competition.
To our fellow Filipinos in Thailand, maraming, maraming salamat po. You reminded our young athletes that wherever they go in the world, there will always be Filipinos who are willing to open their hearts to their kababayans.
Politics may divide us. Distance may separate us. But kindness reminds us that we are still one people.

Sometimes, the best advice doesnโ€™t come from a coach..it comes from someone who has walked the same path.

Five Years. One Dream. Godโ€™s Grace.
Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father God. You never fail to amaze me.
Five years ago, when I came home from working abroad, I never imagined that the dreams I once thought were too big to reach would slowly become reality.
I started with a simple dreamโ€”to give our young athletes opportunities that I never had, to let them experience what it feels like to compete beyond our borders, carry our flag, represent our tribe and community, and discover how far their dreams can take them.
And now, looking at these pictures of our athletes who have competed in different countries, I can hardly believe how far we have come.
Five years lang pala.
From a small dreamโ€ฆ to young warriors stepping into international arenas.
From limited opportunitiesโ€ฆ to opening doors beyond the Philippines.
From simply believingโ€ฆ to actually witnessing the dream unfold before our eyes.
Hindi ko man nakamit lahat ng pangarap ko noon, God allowed me to see those dreams come alive through these children. And perhaps, that is even more beautiful.
All praises belong to You, Lord. ๐Ÿ™
For every opportunity, every answered prayer, every person You sent our way, and every door You opened when we thought there was none.
To everyone who believed in us, supported us, inspired us, helped us, prayed for us, and stood with our athletesโ€”maraming, maraming salamat.
This journey was never mine alone. It belongs to every athlete who fought, every parent who sacrificed, every coach who guided, every supporter who believed, and every person who helped us move one step closer.
Five years later, I look back with nothing but gratitude.
We are still far from where we want to be, but we are no longer where we started.
And Lord, if You brought us this far in just five years,
I can only imagine what You have prepared for the years ahead.

A Ritual of Respect and Identity

Wai Kru is more than a ritual...it is a beautiful expression of gratitude, respect, and identity.
Happy to see Arvin choreographing his own Wai Kru, carrying with every movement the story of who he is, where he comes from, and the people who came before him.
