Session 2 of our Bouldering Basics under the Antigravity Sessions wrapped up last Saturday.

We taught these new climbers not just how to climb up, but also how to fall safely, move with confidence, and enjoy bouldering.

And they're back!

After 1 hour and 48 minutes in the water, the swim session clocked 2.1 km

Team Dirt is in the water.

Swim training just got underway at the Tacloban Amphitheater, with the team heading out along Magsaysay Boulevard towards Kataisan Point in San Jose before making the return swim.

The sun is already bearing down but the team is settling in their strokes, finding their rhythm, and getting the work started.

Adventure racing takes us through different terrain and different conditions. We train for all of it.

No shades. No shortcuts. No easy miles.

It has been an amazing year so far for Team Dirt, and we are grateful for all the races, adventures, and good times we’ve shared.

This was also our chance to formally welcome our new racers to the team. Some of them have already trained and raced with us, and now we’re happy to officially have them as part of Team Dirt. We’re excited to see them grow, take on more races, and share more adventures with the team.

Here’s to a great first half, and more adventures ahead!

Antigravity Sessions 2026 continues tomorrow with Session 2: Bouldering Basics!

Antigravity Sessions, or “Antigrav,” is a month-long series of climbing lectures by Team Dirt for beginners who want to get chalked up, learn the basics, and begin their rock climbing journey.

Tomorrow, we’ll cover bouldering safety, safe falls and landings, movement fundamentals, and how to read and solve a boulder problem.

Walk-in registrations are welcome, with the registration booth open until 1 PM. We still encourage everyone to pre-register. If you would like to register now, check the link in the comments below.

Our clinics will be held at Bukid Outdoor Shop. The gym is easy to find. Just enter “Bukid” in your preferred navigation app.

For the past few months, Coach Jedi Sports & Life Coaching has been helping Team Dirt grow, not just as racers, but as people.

As an athlete and adventure racer himself, Coach Jedi knows what it’s like to push through long days, be battered by the elements, and still thrive in those moments. He knows what it feels like because he has lived it.

Our sessions have covered everything from nutrition to mindset, the way we deal with life’s challenges, and even our breathing. Every session has given us something we can bring into racing and into our everyday lives.

One thing that stood out was learning about the baggage we all carry. Some of it we already knew. Some of it only came to the surface during our sessions. Working through those things has helped us become stronger, not just as a team, but as individuals.

Thank you, Coach Jedi Sports and Life Coaching, for believing in Team Dirt and for sharing your time, knowledge, and experience with us. We’re grateful to have you in our corner, and we’re better people and better racers because of it.
