Venue Inspection for Kumong Bol-anon XXVI!

Following the successful online coordination meeting with Hon. Lawrence Ancla, SK Provincial Federation of Bohol President, and the courtesy call to Hon. Cesar Tomas M. Lopez, Municipal Mayor of Loon, the preparations for Kumong Bol-anon XXVI continued with a venue inspection at the Loon Municipal Gymnasium.

John Carlo Palomares, Sports Coordinator of the Municipality of Loon, together with Ronel Robles, Matchmaker of PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions, and Edsel Burlas, PMI Colleges Sports Coordinator, inspected the venue to assess the overall event setup, athlete facilities, audience seating, and logistics necessary to deliver a safe, organized, and memorable boxing event.

Every step of the preparation reflects the strong collaboration between the Municipality of Loon and PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions as we gear up for Kumong Bol-anon XXVI, which will be held on September 9, 2026, as part of the town fiesta celebration in honor of Nuestra Señora de la Luz (Birhen sa Kasilak).

Preparations are well underway, and we look forward to welcoming boxing fans from across Bohol for another exciting night of professional boxing at the Loon Municipal Gymnasium.

As part of the preparations for Kumong Bol-anon XXVI, the team of PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions paid a courtesy call to Hon. Cesar Tomas M. Lopez, Municipal Mayor of Loon.

The meeting was attended by John Carlo Palomares, Sports Coordinator of the Municipality of Loon, Ronel Robles, Matchmaker of PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions, and Edsel Burlas, PMI Colleges Sports Coordinator.

We are grateful to the Municipal Government of Loon for its warm welcome and support as we prepare to bring another exciting night of professional boxing to the municipality.

Preparations are officially underway for Kumong Bol-anon XXVI!

Today, we held a productive coordination meeting with Hon. Lawrence Ancla, SK Provincial Federation of Bohol President (joining us online), John Carlo Palomares, Sports Coordinator of the Municipality of Loon, Ronel Robles, Matchmaker of PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions, and Edsel Burlas, PMI Colleges Sports Coordinator.

Together, we discussed the plans and preparations to ensure the success of Kumong Bol-anon XXVI, which is set to take place on September 9, 2026 in the Municipality of Loon, Bohol, as part of the town's fiesta celebration in honor of Nuestra Señora de la Luz (Our Lady of Light), locally known as Birhen sa Kasilak, the beloved patroness of Loon. The celebration is also highlighted by the famous SidlaKasilak Festival.
