MEET OUR TOURNAMENT CHAIR FOR SWIMMING

Aimee J. DequiΓ±a serves as the Tournament Chair for Swimming in the upcoming 2025 Boholympics. A decorated athlete in her youth, she was a consistent gold medalist in swimming at the Bohol Provincial Meet (1994–1999), CVRAA (1994–2000), and Palarong Bayan (2000). Her achievements laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to aquatic sports.

With over two decades of experience as a coach and tournament official, Aimee has held key roles in regional sporting events, including Boholympics Tournament Chair (2024) and Tournament Committee Member (2022–2023). She has also served as Judge of Stroke for the Sandugo Festival and Clerk of Course for the Saulog Festival.

From 2001 to 2011, Aimee was the Provincial Trainer for Bohol’s CVRAA delegation. She later served as head coach at BIT International College (2004–2012) and currently coaches at the Tagbilaran Whales Swimming Club. She is a registered Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) coach and has represented Bohol as a coach in national events such as the Philippine National Games and Batang Pinoy since 2022.

Beyond swimming, Aimee is also an active triathlete and dragon boat paddler, exemplifying her passion for multi-sport disciplines and grassroots sports development in the province.
