We are truly honored and thankful to have been awarded 3rd Place in the Zumba Competition held at the Mabini Gymnasium as part of the 122nd Founding Anniversary Celebration.

This achievement is the result of our team's dedication, hard work, and passion. Every practice, every sacrifice, and every ounce of effort brought us to this moment.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for giving us the opportunity to showcase our talent, to our supporters who cheered for us, and to everyone who believed in ANDA POWER ZUMBA. Your encouragement means everything to us.

Of course, we are also thankful to the following people: Honorable John Deligero and Honorable Dolor Amora for lending us your service vehicle aron laman jud dili mi mabasa ug dili mawahi sa competition. We are also grateful to our very supportive barangay officials, Kagawad Ana Felisarta and Kagawad Julieta Escobido, together with our Barangay Captain, Hon. Dario Felicitas, our Barangay Treasurer, and our Barangay Secretary and of course sa atuang walay pu as nga supportive sad si Te Inday Fowler and husband.Naa gyud tawon sila just to witness us perform, and that truly meant a lot to us. A victory is something that we aim for, but behind every victory, there is always a story and people who made it possible.

Another achievement to be proud of:
We won as 1st Placer in the Intertown Zumba Competition in Gabi, Ubay, which celebrated its 58th Founding Anniversary. We were also awarded for having the most number of participants and received an additional ₱500 for gasoline since we traveled far. We were also recognized several times by Doc. Entero.

With these achievements, we would like to say thank you to the following people who are behind this success. To Daisy Makinano and the rest of her family, "Thank you kaayo sa TANAN mubilar,makigbilar ug makig abi abi jud sa amua bisan gahi ulo permi kay dili tarungon ug dungo HAHAHA🌺."To Nay Nenet, nga mao intawon tig-andam ug tig-pangga sa amua bisan tuod wala na ni apil sa iyang trabaho, but still she made sure that we were all comfortable and assisted. To our buhok queen, Julia Rosario Olaivar Tejano, and also to our makeup artist, Jha-Mhel Tejano Grueso, thank you for making us look beautiful and cared for.

To Te Inday Fowler and his husband Sir Greg, thank you so much for the support and for letting us borrow your nice and gorgeous vehicle. Bisan tuod daghan sa luyo, laban gihapon. And of course, to our Kagawad sa Anda, Hon. John Deligero, nga mao intawon nahimong driver, salamat Kagawad sa suporta ug pag-unong sa amua. And of course, to our two lovely Kagawads sa barangay nga naa jud pirmi mosuporta, Kagawad Ana Dayen Felisarta and Kagawad Juliet Escobido,salamat among mga Kagawad.

Lastly, to our handsome mentor and coach, Eddie A Evangelista, thank you sa walay puwas nga pag-critique sa amua. Bisan tuod nasakit, laban gihapon. Mucorrect ug mu-critique ka kay dili ka ganahan nga mulaban mi nga dili andam.

A QUICK STORY OF HOW ANDA POWER ZUMBA STARTED

For everyone's information, it all started when Tawid, Anda, Bohol celebrated its Barangay Fiesta. Each purok was required to have its own presentation to perform, which was a competition. Madam Daisy Makinano, the President of Purok 2, initiated the formation of a group of dancers, which was then called Purok 2 Power Zumba.

When the competition started, it was all for amusement, but ni bilib gyud tanan because of their energy, charming faces, and sweet voices during their chants. Then, after all that, they won the competition.

After that, silingan nga barangay sa Poblacion nasad ang naay Zumba competition. What Madam Daisy did was gather the star dancers from each purok in Barangay Tawid, form a new team, and call it Tawid Power Zumba. Once again, they won.

And here's a story worth sharing: during the competition in Barangay Poblacion, there were only three contestants, including Barangay Tawid. It was quite unexpected because of the time, but they still continued the program with only three contestants. After we won, we heard that the neighboring town would have an Intertown Zumba Clash of Champions in Canhaway, Guindulman.

At first, we were all hesitant to join because, upon visiting and checking the social media pages of our kalaban, they already had their names and noise all over social media. But still, we pursued joining the competition and gave our very best, so what Madam Daisy did was to gather a dancer from different barangay to make as one and thats how our team assembled the name ANDA POWER ZUMBA.

During the competition, it was funny to hear when the host announced that our team had already won inter-purok and inter-barangay competitions, which gave us good vibes that this could be our third time to be called champions again. The other teams already had 14 championship titles, while others had 12 or even 8. We were actually the least experienced among them. But then again, it did not affect us. Instead, we did our best and once again won the very first Intertown Zumba Championship.

And now, the last contest we participated in was in Los Angeles, Ubay, where the struggle was real—naligaw, nagubaan, ug nahadlok—but still we fought, and we earned the 1st Runner-Up title.

Now, we're looking forward to more Zumba competitions to come and more successes for our team. The rest is a history to come.
