Happy Labor Day!
Sharing Behavior Change as one of my favorite topic.
Behavioral change is the structured process of modifying an individual’s habits, actions, or attitudes to improve health, well-being, life or performance. It involves transitioning from old patterns to new, often healthier ones, whether voluntarily or through intervention.
Cooking for me is a creative art and presencing practice towards wellness, love and pakikipag-kapwa.

7 years apart with 7 lessons to share:
1. God, our Creator, created us with vision of expansion.
Be creative how you want to live and expand your life.
2. Live life with no expectations, no judgments - this requires lifelong inner work.
3. Be present.
It’s a gift. Future may cause anxiety, past may give regret, guilt or shame.
4. Choice is YES or NO.
Whatever you choose in life, it expands as we focus on it.
5. Do what you love.
Follow what’s inside your heart.
6. Forgive.
Cleanse your heart daily. Don’t wait for years to forgive or reconcile. Ask help if you can.
7. Choose Love. Be Courageous.
Fear may come in as mind wants to protect us, learn how to face your fear.
I am truly grateful and blessed for 7 years how God expanded my heart and life. At times that it closes, God helped me by sending light come in through the cracks. Those 7 years was not easy yet it was the most worth it path I have chosen with Ferdinand Bongbong Garcia Edra and Fatimah Grace.
Thank you Lord for the life worth celebrating for. Every year you gives me surprises.
Thank you for the gift of healing, visions and presence.

Today as we observe World Mental Health Day, I’m taking time to pause and thank those people who took time to listen when I needed help.
Someone message me “I admire you on how you balance life and positivity.”
Thank you. And the truth is, there are times I am out of balance, there are times I am crying and there are times it is difficult for me to bear things. And that is all okay.
It doesn’t mean I am not grateful to all the blessings. I am grateful for small or big things, even in ordinary life I have right now.
I am writing this to remind myself and others - that all emotions is welcome and valid, yes even the big emotions. Part yun ng wholeness we have. Mahalaga is kilalanin ang bawat emotions, welcome them. Notice emotions and thoughts, process them if needed, and reframe thoughts if needed kung saan nagmumula ang feelings we are experiencing. Our thoughts affects our feelings / emotions and it affects our actions. However, there are circumstances that we can use our body actions, like in power anchor, to change our thoughts.
I remember, in one of my session with a Psychologist, there are 3 factors affecting our mental health. So I am sharing these, my personal experience and self-management.
1. Biological factor
In my case I have musculoskeletal condition affecting me not to run or have vigorous activity which I previously do 2-3x a week.
I had adjustments on sleep due to chronic pain, sleep disturbances after being a mom, and career transitions.
The body movements and sunlight are natural anti-depressants. Good quality sleep is big help also for our brain and body to recharge and recover.
2. Cognitive factor
In my embodied life, I’ve learned walang mali sa thoughts we have, however, being aware of our thoughts and its impact to us matters. Most especially if it has negative effect on us in our programming as manifested in our body and actions. Negative judgements of others (or even on ourselves) impacts our mindset - we have to notice it, process it and reframe it.
For me, I use personal inquiry or reflective inquiry. I do journaling or meditation everyday. When I notice the triggers or thoughts, I write it on journal. I pray, for times outside my control I surrender to God na.
Minsan, or most of the time may surprises sya. Yes sometimes I go on retreat or just go to chapel or church.
3. Socio-emotional support
This hit me hard during pandemic, after giving birth and after resignation from corporate as someone who is an extrovert.
I am thankful to my husband, my parents, siblings and sister-in-law, best friend and selected friends. Until I have met runners, mindful mompreneurs, business owners / freelancers. I am thankful also to my therapist (both mental and physical), mahalaga may nakakausap and giving professional help.
For some, sadly this is the most difficult part because they don’t have support system or can’t access the mental health support for their challenges or transitions. Not everyone is given a chance to access it.
This is the reason why I am now helping community of leaders, women and moms. I felt I am called to be part of healing and raising awareness in our world.
Note: I am not a therapist. Wearing a coach or facilitator hat is different. What I have shared is my personal experience. However, if you feel you need someone to talk to, I am here. I believe regardless of hat we wear, what is more important is our human relationship and listening from our heart. Send me message.

Grateful for my slow morning with Fatimah and for our mindfulness, movements and embodiment practice. We started with breathing and ended up with our arts.
She teaches me to just flow and just be. ❤️

My sensing journey started 10 years ago in Mt. Batulao - when I started to pursue what’s inside my heart. God’s love inside me allowed me to journey beyond the corners of our home, office and community. Truly, when we are , miracles happen.
The wonders of the brain’s neuroplasticity is amazing that helps us to create things, experience things.
The whisper of our heart - Kutob makes sense if we hear it amidst the voices in our world.
The body can do more if we are grounded to our purpose.
The spirit will remain open, joyful and alive.
Being on top of the mountain, with nature, God, self and people - gives me peace, joy and fulfillment. (Grateful to MMGP youth turned friends and family for my mother mountain experience.)
After this climb, I’ve realized creating an outreach group (Celebrate Life and Love) celebrating my 30th birthday helping with agency or community that needs help through their needs (improving their life in simple ways we can). This group operated until 2021 (before I gave birth).
And now, it’s calling me beyond again after experiencing transitions, darkness and season of change - helping women and moms through coaching. Grateful to Theory U which I started learning through ate , U-Lab and TRAIL for helping me now understand my own journey so I can move towards the future with love, grace and guidance. ❤️
Grateful also to .org.ph, previously OCCI, for the leadership trilogy (life coaching) I’ve attended in 2014.
I surrender to the spirit within. ❤️🔥
(If you are in same journey - of understanding self, wanting to move forward, healing and growing, comment ME below or send me message so I can help you too.)

My heart is full and opened. I am grateful for the enlightenment experienced when I became a mom and until today. The unconditional love is possible everyday.
Thank you God for the gift of motherhood and marriage most especially the learnings in the process of life. Thank you for the answered prayers. With my age and condition, I just believed and surrendered everything to God in 2018. God’s time is the right time (I got married in the age of 35). Nothing is impossible with God (I have PCOS). God turned my pains to healing, joy and light.
I am blessed as I receive. Salamat Anak, for everyday hug, kiss, play and activities with mama. Salamat for the love and joy you always share with mama and tatay. We love you 😘
HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY everyone ❤️🎉

Today I was able to have physical activity of 5km in the threadmill for 40 minutes, the same time I can run all the way before having an injury - BIG WIN for me. 🙏
This photo, taken by and thanks to .alab, is a great reminder that our worthiness lies not on the result but on our journey of becoming. Even during the photoshoot time (it hurts for me- both physical and emotional pain, feeling sad and frustrated not being able to continue training and running for my marathon TBR Feb 2025, but seeing the marathon runners gave me hope and self compassion.) In totality, the experience itself gave me personal growth - transcending part of me not okay and redirected my life.
I am feeling grateful and teary eyed while savoring my moment for today’s running+walking activity (my 38th daily physical movement challenge for myself) masarap sa pakiramdam I can do it again after having meniscus tear and Illiotibial band (ITB) syndrome. My knees are not the same as before but I am grateful and have deep intention to adjust my physical activities aligned to my goal of fitness for my daughter, to live longer for my family and to help families through
As I look back in December 2025, I felt intense pain on my knee, I didn’t know it’s becoming weak and tired while training for a marathon. Mentally, I have the endurance for long runs, but my body was lacking strength training I needed for longer distances. So while running after my toddler in a mall with having a weak legs and knees due to ITB, I slipped causing meniscus tear.
The injury is not because of my daughter, but because I’m lacking the strength I need at that moment - that hit me hard. First, all along I’ve thought I’m doing whatever I can to be strong and healthy for her. I’m her primary care provider everyday while papa is working for us. Second, I felt frustrated and sad not being able to run in the TBR. So I chose and act differently so I can manage the pain and be back stronger in physical movements.
All glory to God.
If you need help to go back to mindful movements and making healthy choices to help improve your life, book a free 30 minutes call w/ me (my gift to you).

Last weekend, God reminded me that LOVE is an ACTION word.
So how we can take actions most especially in a system we belong?
1. Giving feedback
2. Being fully present
3. Active listening
4. Celebrating progress (big or small)
5. Embracing our leader’s identity
6. Support system
Whatever system we belong, love and harmony is possible if we choose to be open in our mind, heart and our actions.
