Congratulations to Estie Gay Liwanen, a former Southeast Asian Games gold medalist who won the gold medal in judo’s masters division at the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 on Monday in the United Arab Emirates.

Liwanen secured the women’s 40+ 70kg title by defeating American Zeynab Diakite via ippon.

Liwanen returns to action today, Wednesday, this time in jiujitsu with former world champion Meggie Ochoa and Christopher Gallego.
