(2/2) Devotion & Food Fellowship
Some of the best conversations happen over a shared plate. π€
Today, we were fed twice β once through the Word, and once through the meal that followed.
"He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." (Psalm 23:3)
Running restores the body. But it's the Word β and the people around the table β that restore the soul. There's something different about sitting down together after pushing through a workout. The guards come down. The real conversations start. And somehow, a shared meal starts to feel like a small picture of what community is supposed to be.
So we ask you β what's one thing (a meal, a conversation, a moment) that has restored you lately? Share it with us.
Grateful for this community, this food, and this Word. π

(1/2) Some victories happen before the first step is even taken. πββοΈπββοΈ
Today, ours was simply showing up.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:1-2)
Long before our feet hit the pavement, we were already being led β through the warm-up, the stretches, the quiet moment of getting ready. Because the truth is, showing up is its own kind of discipline. And when we let Him lead first, everything else falls into place.
So tell us β what did it take for YOU to show up today? A busy schedule, tiredness, doubt? π Let us know in the comments.
We run because He leads. One step, one stride, one day at a time. π

There's something powerful about running hard together, then enjoying a meal as one - both in body and in spirit.π€
Today's devotion took us through Hebrews 12, and one line stuck with many of us: "For the moment, all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."
No discipline, whether in training or in faith, feels good in the moment. But it's shaping us for something greater.
As we broke bread together, we are reminded once more what it looks like to run to Christ. Not alone, but shoulder to shoulder with people who help carry the weight when life gets heavy.
Currently, what's a discipline that doesn't feel good yet, but you know is shaping you for the better? Share below. π
Grateful for this community, the food, and His Word. π

(1/2) Before we even hit the pavement today, let's start with something just as important: showing up. πββοΈπββοΈ
Hebrews 12:1 reminds us to "lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set before us."
With every stretch or drill we do, we are not just prepping our legs, it is a glimpse of what it means to "lay things aside" before we run.
What's one thing you had to "lay down" just to show up for this session today?
Tiredness, a busy week, self-doubt? Drop it in the comments. π
Let's run this race together β eyes on Him, one stride at a time. π€

We may run at different paces, but the direction is the same. Take the opportunity to pause, breathe with the gift of surrendering our worries to Him. May this be our reminder that we are able to run light because God is carrying what we cannot. π€β¨
