PHILIPPINE ARMY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM CONCLUDES HIGH-INTENSITY TUNE-UP GAME AGAINST FEU WBT

The Philippine Army Women’s Basketball Team (PAWBT) concluded a highly competitive and intense tune-up game against the Far Eastern University Women’s Basketball Team (FEU WBT) on 26 August 2026 at the PAWC Basketball Court, FBTC.

The match provided the PAWBT with a valuable opportunity to test their capabilities against a formidable opponent while further enhancing their skills, teamwork, game ex*****on, and overall competitive readiness. Through this high-level basketball engagement, the team gained important experience and insights that will contribute to their continued development and preparation for upcoming competitions.

The Philippine Army Chess Team proudly demonstrated its exceptional skill, strategic superiority, discipline, and competitive prowess during the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Selection – Luzon Leg 2026, held on 21–23 August 2026 at the Athletes’ Village, Santa Cruz, Laguna.

Competing against some of the country’s strongest chess players, the Philippine Army Chess Team showcased not only its individual talent but also the strength, determination, and intellectual power of the Philippine Army, proving its capability to excel in highly competitive national-level sporting events.

The prestigious selection event was organized by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), providing a significant platform for the Philippine Army Chess Team to demonstrate its readiness, competitiveness, and potential to represent the organization and the nation in higher-level competitions.
