On August 22, 2026, at Obstacle Central, Mandaluyong, our SAFletes officially became Spartan DEKA Certified — trained in the DEKA foundations, event judging, and hands-on athlete coaching. 💪

This timing couldn't be better, with Spartan DEKA Fit coming this October 2026, our newly certified trainers are ready to guide anyone preparing to take on the challenge — whether you're chasing your first DEKA finish or aiming for a new personal best. A full week of rain could have been the perfect excuse to sit this one out — but SAFletes chose to show up anyway. That's the difference between wanting it and being committed to it. 🙌🔥

Some coaches train athletes. Others dedicate themselves to building a community. Leo does both.

Today, Swift and Fit honors Capt. Leo—our SAF MOA and SAF Elite Athletes Coach. His dedication goes beyond the track, going the extra mile and travelling from place to place simply to show up, serve, and help his athletes become better. 🫡

His commitment speaks louder than words, and his willingness to give more than what is asked of him is something the SAF community will always be grateful for.
