Some of our friends went to Batangas this weekend, kami naman nangapit bayan, umakyat sa bundok to join family members who went camping. Bago bumalik ng Taguig, nag stop over muna para makapag uwi ng suman (sa amin sa bicol ang tawag dito, ibos) tinda ni Ate Gladys and Kuya Dante 🥰 Quick trip to recharge! 🔋 Alan and I enjoyed the view and the fresh air. So nice to just pause for a moment lalo na hindi naman nauubos ang mga gawain natin personal man or work related. Have a blessed week ahead mga kababayan! 🙏🏻❤️

𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐆 𝐔𝐑𝐁𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒

The City Agriculture Office regularly harvests a variety of root crops, vegetables, and fruits from the 7 Taguig Urban Farms two to three times a week, with each harvest averaging around 50 kilograms.

The harvested crops included Chinese cabbage (pechay), sponge gourds (patola), upland water spinach (upland kangkong), radish (labanos), jute mallows (saluyot), eggplants (talong), malabar spinach (alugbati), sweet potato tops (kamote tops), and Romaine lettuce.

These produce are distributed to the city-run Taguig Pateros District Hospital TPDH, Taguig Lingap Center, Taguig Bahay Pagasa, BJMP wards, Taguig Love Caravan medical and dental mission, and feeding programs in schools.

Umabot sa mahigit 600 kabataang Taguigeño mula sa Brgy. Central Bicutan, Brgy. Post Proper Northside, Brgy. West Rembo, Brgy. Ibayo-Tipas, Brgy. Sta. Ana, Brgy. Tuktukan, at Brgy. Central Signal ang matagumpay na sumailalim sa circumcision services sa Operation Libreng Tuli na ginanap sa Upper Bicutan National High School, Post Proper Northside Barangay Hall, West Rembo Elementary School, Tipas National High Schoola-Annex, Taguig Integrated School, at Central Signal Gymnasium nitong ika-1 hanggang 6 ng Hulyo.

Ang Operation Libreng Tuli ay taunang programa ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Taguig, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mayor Lani Cayetano, na naglalayong maghatid ng libre at ligtas na pagtutuli. Sa pamamagitan ng Medical Assistance Office, pinangunahan ito ng mga doktor, nurse, at iba pang medical personnel. Bukod sa libreng tuli, nagbibigay rin ang lokal na pamahalaan ng libreng gamot tulad ng antibiotic at pain reliever para matiyak ang maayos na paggaling ng mga batang sumailalim sa operasyon.

Magpapatuloy ang Operation Libreng Tuli sa iba’t ibang barangay sa lungsod.
