Happy Halloween from my wild thing!

This past weekend, I co-led a yoga retreat in Winter Park with , and it was the homecoming I desperately needed. After becoming a mother, I lost a piece of myself, and I’ve spent so much time fretting over the absence of that missing part. This was a weekend to remember… it felt like the softest landing back home to my whole self.

The house we stayed in was gorgeous, the meals prepared by the chef were nothing short of divine, and the fall colors were a reminder of the beauty in transformation. The yoga was deeply grounding, each practice infused with meaning and intention. But the most moving part? The incredible women who joined us on this journey. Their adventurous spirits, loving hearts, and openness made the weekend unforgettable.

As I reflect, there’s one moment that stands out above all others: the sound of laughter. On the last night, I went to bed listening to a symphony of giggles in the living room—a sweet, pure expression of joy and connection. It reminded me of the healing power of community, and the warmth that comes when we truly allow ourselves to be seen and loved.

I am so deeply touched by this experience. To the beautiful souls who shared this weekend with me—thank you, thank you, thank you. I feel so grateful to have witnessed this journey of reflection and connection. 🙏🏻✨

A cute little story

Years ago I auditioned to teach for a local yoga studio. Long story short, I didn't get the job but the experience left a lasting scar. After teaching my prepared sequence, the manager of the studio looked at me with big eyes, covered her mouth with her hand and allowed for a deep pause...she then told me I should be a children's storybook reader. 

At the time, I was crushed. 

Yoga auditions were nerve wracking enough and now I was reiterating this cute little story about myself. Rather than letting them be something fun (feeling a new place out, offering my gifts to the community, and exploring possibility), yoga auditions became terrifying. So much so, that I often wouldn't even try.  

Well fast forward, turns out the manager was right.

I am an AMAZING children's storybook reader. I am honored to hold the title and I take my role very seriously.

Also, I recently had an audition. 

I'm excited to announce that I am now teaching Restorative Yoga at Club Greenwood on Sundays at 1pm. 

There is so much to unpack here but my little is about to wake up-

The world can feel mean, try to be kind. 

I teach the importance of participation over perfection, something I am still learning. 

The story we tell ourselves, about ourselves, is the most important story we will ever tell. 

Restorative yoga feels needed right now and the best way I can be in service. 

That's all I got.
