Ukraine’s Oleksandra Oliynykova got a first-hand taste of what it’s like to face Eala with a passionate crowd behind her, as Louis Armstrong Stadium was filled with “Pinoy pride” on Friday (PH time).

But despite falling to the Filipina sensation, 6-1, 6-4, in the second round, Oliynykova had nothing but gratitude for the fans who welcomed her in New York. Making it even sweeter, she dedicated a message to them in full Filipino.
