ZAMBASULTA x KOTA KINABALU, SABAH, MALAYSIA
From the coastal roots of Zamboanga Peninsula to the highlands of Sabah, this expedition is a journey shaped by culture, resilience, and exploration. Traversing the islands of Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, the route connects some of the most iconic yet rarely experienced landscapes in Mindanao.
The team will take on key summits including Basilan Peak, Bud Daho, Bud Tumantangis, and Bud Bongao, each carrying its own story, terrain, and cultural significance. The journey continues across the districts of Sulu Province District 1 and Sulu Province District 2, highlighting the depth and diversity of the region.
Crossing borders by sea, the expedition moves toward Kota Kinabalu, opening opportunities for exploration under a flexible, open itinerary, allowing the team to adapt, discover, and fully experience the spirit of Sabah.
This is more than a climb, it’s a cross-cultural expedition built on respect, purpose, and the pursuit of meaningful adventure.

Summiting Mt. Mantalingahan one of the toughest mountains in Philippines 🇵🇭 wasn’t just about reaching the top, it was enduring the long hours, the endless up and down, and those stiff climbs that tested both body and mind. There were moments the trail felt never-ending, where every step demanded more than what I thought I had. But somewhere in that struggle, I learned to keep going not by my own strength alone bisag gikapoy na, but by trusting God through every step nga mahuman rani.
Because in climbs like this, the summit is just part of the story, bonus ranang clearing. The real victory is finishing strong, staying safe as a team, and realizing that every hardship along the trail had a purpose. All glory to God, who carried me through every ascent, every descent, and brought me safely to the end.
