We would like to say thank you to Abellana National School Alumni Basketball League for letting us compete and represent our batch for Season 2! We also want to thank you our fellow batch mates who've supported the team specially this season!

Great win from our 2001A Team as they marched forward against 2nd seeded Batch 2002! On to the semi-finals!

Tough loss from our 2001B Team as they ended the Abellana National School Alumni Basketball League 2nd season with a loss from Batch 2003A!

We are moving to the knockout round!

Congrats to Team Mabolo Taipans of Mabolo Elementary School (MES) for winning the Cebu City Olympics 2024 elementary basketball event! Congrats also to Coach Ryener Billones, our fellow batchmate and player for Abellana National School Batch 2001 Alumni Basketball Team!

SPORTS: WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS: MABOLO TAIPANS STUNS USC BABY WARRIORS TO GRAB ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL CROWN IN CEBU CITY OLYMPICS

The Mabolo Elementary School (MES) Taipans took on the role of giant-slayers as they defeated the formidable University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors in the thrilling championship match of the Cebu City Olympics 2024 elementary basketball event at the Cebu Coliseum.

The promising ballers from Mabolo outplayed the defending champions, securing a 47-40 victory in a solid display of skills and composure, especially in the crucial stretch where they held on for a close but resounding triumph.

Josh Borgador led the way as Mabolo's top performer in the game. They are under the guidance of head coach Ryener Billones and assistant coach Michelle Tabal.

Mabolo Elementary School's basketball team, with a remarkable 4-0 record, has secured a historic spot in the final rounds against defending champions, the University of San Carlos. The clash promises a thrilling showcase of elementary school basketball talent in Cebu City, with the winner not only claiming the championship but also representing the city in the upcoming CVIRAA. Be part of the excitement today, on January 31, 2024, at the Cebu Coliseum at 1 PM, as we witness this thrilling showdown.
