๐ A Promise Fulfilled, A Purpose Remembered ๐
When we first started planning the Talisay City Half-Marathon, we knew from the very beginning that it wouldnโt just be about running it would be about giving back. ๐
Part of our mission has always been to extend help to those who need it most. And among them are our brave dialysis patients, who fight quiet battles every single day. Before making our donation, we personally asked them what they truly needed and their answer was simple, yet deeply moving: sacks of rice. ๐
It reminded us that sometimes, the most meaningful help doesnโt come in grand gestures, but in small acts that ease someoneโs daily struggles.
As promised, a portion of our runโs proceeds was allocated to support our dialysis patients, and today, we are humbled and grateful to finally make that promise a reality. โค๏ธ
To all our runners, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, thank you for being part of this cause. Every step you took, every registration made, every ounce of effort contributed all led to this moment of kindness and shared humanity. Because of you, many families will have food on their tables and hope in their hearts.
This is what community is all about. ๐ซถ
This is what running with purpose truly means. ๐โโ๏ธ๐

โFROM CASUAL RUNS TO HALF-MARATHONโ
From a small dream to a citywide reality ๐โโ๏ธโจโ
It all started with a simple habit a few runners meeting after work at the Talisay City Hall Flagpole every 5PM. That small circle of passionate individuals called themselves the 5PM Runners 6045. What began as casual runs to relieve stress after a long day soon turned into a growing community bound by friendship, fitness, and the love for running.
Week after week, the group grew. Strangers became teammates, teammates became friends, and those friends became a family sharing one goal to keep moving forward. From small fun runs to community runs, the dream began to take shape: โWhat if one day, we could host a Half-Marathon right here in our own city?โ
At first, it was just an idea a wild thought that seemed too big for a small group of runners. But through dedication, teamwork, and the support of the community, that imagination turned into a plan, and that plan turned into the Race to the Feast: Talisay Fiesta Half-Marathon 2025 a symbol of how far passion, unity, and belief can take us.
Today, what was once just a dream shared at the flagpole has become a legacy for Talisay a celebration of perseverance, community spirit, and the power of starting small. ๐ช๐
From the Talisay City runners the Talisay City Half-Marathon dreams do come true when the whole community runs together. โค๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
