๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฆโ on May 13, 2026. The activity aimed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the historical foundations, democratic ideals, and lasting influence of American freedom.
The lecture series opened with Ms. Movoumeen Athena Maravilla, a 3rd Year BA International Studies student, who presented โ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐
๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ.โ Her discussion highlighted the early migration and settlement of the first American migrants and how these beginnings contributed to the formation of the United States as a nation.
The second presentation was delivered by Mr. Jonas Ethan Dagalea, also a 3rd Year BA International Studies student, through his topic โ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฐ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ.โ His lecture emphasized the English political traditions and republican ideals that greatly influenced the development of American democracy and governance.
The final session was facilitated by Mr. Rovic John Eslao, faculty member of the Social Sciences Department, who explored โ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐: ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ง ๐

The program was attended by 21 participants who actively engaged in the discussions and gained a deeper appreciation of the legacy of American freedom and its continuing impact on history and society. Beyond serving as a final academic requirement for the students, the lecture series became a meaningful platform for learning, reflection, and appreciation of American history, democracy, and political ideals.

The program opened with Ms. Jasmine Catajoy, who presented a comprehensive discussion on the ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐.๐. ๐
๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฌ, tracing the transformation of its design from the early years of the nation to the present. Her session highlighted how each version of the flag reflects important milestones in American history.
This was followed by Mr. Angelo Ryan Atega who shared an insightful presentation on the ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ-๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ. He explained the origins and meaning of the national anthem and its connection to the resilience and patriotism embodied by the American flag.
The final session was delivered by Mr. Rovic John Eslao, who explored the story and enduring legacy of ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ and her association with the creation of the first American flag. His discussion emphasized both the historical narratives and the symbolism of the ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฌ, reinforcing its importance in shaping American identity.
A total of 25 students attended the lecture, actively engaging in the discussions and gaining a deeper appreciation of American history and its enduring symbols. The activity served as a meaningful platform for cultural learning and reflection, in line with the objectives of the Freedom250 celebration.

๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฆ, held from April 14โ16, 2026 at the CDCH, successfully engaged students in a dynamic and interactive celebration of the 250th founding anniversary of the United States. A total of 72 students visited the activity, where they enjoyed a variety of board games designed to enhance critical thinking, strategic planning, and teamwork.
In addition to gameplay, participants also explored the Road to Liberty exhibit, which provided meaningful insights into key moments and figures in the history of American independence. The combination of play and learning created an enriching environment that encouraged both intellectual engagement and social interaction.
Overall, the event provided a fun and engaging space for students to connect, learn, and appreciate the values of freedom through interactive play and meaningful experiences.

From country roots to global pop dominance, participants explored Taylor Swift's iconic journey - diving into her storytelling, creative evolution, and cultural impact.
20 enthusiastic participants joined the fun, engaging in lively discussion and interactive activities on themes of identity, creativity, and innovation in American music.
It was a half-day full of music, insights, and Swiftie vibes - celebrating not just a global icon, but the power of music to connect, inspire, and tell stories that matter.
