CLARET HIGH SCHOOL BURY AYALA TO SECURE MAYOR'S CUP FINAL SPOT

Claret High School delivered a stunning 8-0 victory over Ayala National High School in the semi-finals of the Mayor’s Cup, showcasing their dominance and securing a place in the tournament's final match.

Cantar opened the floodgates with a goal in the 1st minute and went on to complete a hat-trick with strikes in the 15th and 29th minutes. Engalla added to the tally in the 13th minute, followed by Gonzales' brace in the 19th and 50th minutes. Jailani and Francisco capped off the rout with goals in the 33rd and 47th minutes, respectively.

Ayala struggled to find any rhythm against Claret’s relentless attack and disciplined defense. With this emphatic win, Claret High School has set the tone as favorites heading into the Mayor’s Cup final.

FILIPINO-TURKISH TOLERANCE DOMINATES TALISAYAN HIGH SCHOOL

Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School delivered a commanding performance in the Mayor’s Cup semi-finals, overwhelming Talisayan National High School with a resounding 6-1 victory.

Delgado set the tone early, scoring back-to-back goals in the 20th and 21st minutes. Nadjarain extended the lead in the 26th minute, followed by a hat-trick from Manug, who found the net in the 29th, 40th, and 57th minutes.

Talisayan’s Flores briefly sparked hope with a goal in the 23rd minute, but the relentless attack from Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School proved too much to handle.

With this dominant display, Filipino-Turkish Tolerance School marches confidently into the finals, showcasing their offensive firepower and title-winning potential.

A HEART-BREAKING DEFEAT BY ATENEO PROPELS STA. MARIA TO THE FINALS

Sta. Maria Central School secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ateneo in the Mayor’s Cup semi-finals, thanks to a decisive goal by Ordeniza in the 19th minute.

Ateneo leaned heavily on counter-attacks but struggled to convert their few chances, as Sta. Maria’s disciplined defense stood firm. Dominating 60% of the possession, Sta. Maria dictated the flow of the game with their precise passing, which proved instrumental in breaking through Ateneo’s defensive line.

The victory sends Sta. Maria to the finals, where their composed style of play and solid defense make them strong contenders for the title.

TALISAYAN ADVANCES TO MAYOR'S CUP FINALS

In an electrifying semi-final clash of the Mayor’s Cup, Talisayan Central School secured a decisive 2-0 victory over Manicahan Central School, earning their place in the finals.

Talisayan’s Fausto opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, capitalizing on a swift counter-attack to give his team the lead. Manicahan Central School attempted to dictate the tempo, frequently pressing forward in search of an equalizer. However, their aggression left them vulnerable, and Talisayan punished them again on the break, with Baron sealing the win in the 43rd minute.

Manicahan struggled to recover as Talisayan’s defense stood firm, ensuring a clean sheet and a dominant performance. The win cements Talisayan’s reputation as a strong contender for the Mayor’s Cup title.

The stage is now set for an exciting final, with Talisayan eager to continue their impressive run
