Yesterday, April 13, 2026, our Level 3 medical students gathered at the RFH, 5th Floor SHS Building, for the Cura Personalis Formation Program — a meaningful space to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

Centered on the Module 3: Prayer and Silence, the session invited students into moments of stillness amid the fast pace of medical training. Through guided reflection and quiet contemplation, they were encouraged to slow down and become more attentive to their inner lives.

During the sharing circles, common struggles surfaced: navigating relentless schedules, adjusting to new rotations, and the unintentional neglect of self-care and time with loved ones. While feelings of anxiety and uncertainty were present, the students also recognized these emotions as natural markers of their journey—signs of growth, perseverance, and the deep work of becoming the physicians they aspire to be.

As future Ignatian doctors, may they continue to embrace prayer and silence as vital sources of strength, clarity, and compassion. Ultimately, caring for others begins with the grace of caring for oneself.

Padayon, future Ignatian doctors! 💙

The Cura Personalis Formation Program – Level V (April 8, 2026) became a meaningful space for reflection, growth, and discernment in the spirit of Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

The day began with Kumustahan, where participants engaged in simple yet insightful activities that revealed their patterns in decision-making. More than just games, these moments invited everyone to pause, reflect, and come to a deeper understanding of self, recognizing how one’s choices shape who they are becoming.

Grounded in Ignatian Spirituality, the next session emphasized cura personalis care for the whole person. Participants were reminded of their call to nurture not only their intellectual growth but also their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. As future Ignatian professionals, this serves as a guiding principle in becoming persons for and with others.

The session on Resilient Leadership highlighted the importance of responding to challenges with faith, hope, and strength. It encouraged participants to find meaning even in difficulties, to choose understanding over conflict, and to grow in resilience through life’s uncertainties.

More than a formation program, it was a shared journey of becoming rooted in reflection, strengthened by community, and inspired by the Ignatian call to serve

Happening today! ✊

Open na ang ating signature campaign for the “Dapat Isa Lang: Anti-Political Dynasty Act through People’s Initiative.”

Panahon na for true representation. Hindi dapat sa iisang pamilya lang umiikot ang power—dahil ang leadership, hindi 'yan minamana. Pinaghihirapan at ipinagkakatiwala 'yan ng taumbayan.

This Women’s Month, the Social Development Unit celebrates the extraordinary women of our communities. Whether you are a mother, a student, a community leader, or a guardian of tradition, your strength transforms the world.

We also honor the incredible women of the Social Development Unit—women whose compassion, strength, and dedication quietly transform lives and communities every day. 💗

Behind every program, every helping hand, and every life uplifted is a woman who chose to serve with courage and heart. Your work reminds us that empowerment is not only about rising for ourselves, but also about lifting others along the way. ✨

May we continue to celebrate women who lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and inspire hope in every community they reach. 🌸

SNAPSHOTS | EDSA @ 40: Awit ng Pagkakaisa, Tinig ng Pag-asa

Today, we mark the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, a defining moment in our nation’s history that showed the world the strength of a united people.

Through our community concert, yesterday, we gathered not only to sing songs of the past but to remember why they were first sung. Through music and shared reflection, we were reminded that EDSA about courage. It was about truth.

In a time when information is abundant and opinions are loud, discernment becomes even more important. The spirit of EDSA calls us not only to remember history, but to live its values dailly in our classrooms, in our conversations, in our communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the AdZU community, all students, faculty, staff, alumni, partners, and friends, who joined us in this meaningful commemoration.

Forty years later, the work continues. The call to protect truth, to stand for justice, to defend human dignity, and to choose unity over division remains urgent. May we carry that light with courage. May we keep it lit. And may we continue to build a nation rooted in truth, compassion, and the common good.
