Regional Science High School for Region-IX (RSHS-IX) proudly received a 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 📄 as the 1st runner-up in the 𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕔𝕥 𝕄𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟜, held on November 22-23 at Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School in Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City. The sun barely peeked over the horizon when the spirited students of 𝑹𝑺𝑯𝑺-𝑰𝑿 gathered at dawn for the much-anticipated 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐁𝐎 𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐘 🏃‍♀️🥇 kicking off at 5:45 AM. Organized by ROAR (Resilient and Outstanding Athletes), this event brought together students not just to showcase their athleticism but to build 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓼𝓹𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓽 🤝 and 𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 💪 With a course stretching over 3 kilometers, participants were 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 🤩 by the camaraderie of their peers and the 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 🥰✨ of the day.

As runners crossed the finish line, the celebration truly began! In a burst of 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓 🌈 and 𝒋𝒐𝒚 😜 , participants were doused with water, transforming their hard work into a 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒗𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒖𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓 ✨🤗 Hydration stations along the route ensured that everyone stayed refreshed 🥤💦

Different players from different sports have been sorted and randomized to different houses to compete for the grand championship 🍾🏆

The event was held on different venues and lasted for a span of an entire week. The tryouts showcased the hidden talents of Regionalians in different fields of sports. Their 𝐌𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 🏋️‍♀️ and 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐘 💪 was present in the duration of the sports tryouts, exemplifying sportsmanship and camaraderie along the way.
