Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Western Mindanao Regional Coordination Office

The 2026 Regional Scouting Committee (RESCOM) Meeting, Key-3 Conference, Election, and Awarding Ceremony was successfully held at the Western Mindanao Regional Office. The event was truly honored by the presence of Chief National Commissioner Atty. Jose Rizalino Ortega, who delivered an inspiring message encouraging everyone to be more proactive and committed in upholding the true spirit of scouting through leadership, service, and dedication to youth development.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to the newly re-elected Regional Chairperson, Atty. Hussin Amin, and to our newly elected Regional Vice Chairperson, Atty. Rommel Agan. Your leadership will surely guide the region toward greater achievements.

Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who participated in this first RESCOM of 2026. Your active involvement and unwavering support made this gathering meaningful and productive. We commend all local councils of western mindanao region for a job well done, especially for the remarkable accomplishments in 2025, most notably the significant increase in membership, training, and advancement registrations across the region.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the BSP Zamboanga City Council for graciously hosting the 2026 RESCOM. Your warm hospitality and dedicated efforts greatly contributed to the success of this gathering.

As we move forward, we wish all Local Councils in Western Mindanao continued success and a fruitful year ahead. May we further strengthen our efforts in growing membership, enhancing program delivery, and inspiring more young people to embrace the values of scouting.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your dedication, time, and passion for the movement. It is because of each one of you that scouting continues to thrive and make a difference in the lives of our youth. May we carry forward this shared mission with renewed strength, unity, and purpose, supporting one another every step of the way as we build a brighter future for the next generation. Together, let us continue to serve, lead, and inspire in the true spirit of scouting.

Though our regional forums will chart their own courses, this Consolidated Pre-Forum Session is our unified compass—where our journey begins as One Mindanao.
