From what I've seen this IPL, 's captaincy has been seriously impressive. He's got an attacking mindset that's exciting to watch.

Against RCB, Kohli hit 5 consecutive fours to Rabada. Most captains would've taken him off immediately. But Gill backed him, gave him the next over, and Rabada got the wicket of Kohli.

Yesterday again, he understood that the target wasn't a big one. So with Rabada bowling well, he completed his 4 overs quota upfront & got 3 wickets (and 1 drop).

Bowled out the best batting side for just 86. SRH's lowest score in IPL history.

He's now defeated CSK, RCB, PBKS, RR, & SRH in the last 5 matches. That's literally the top 5 teams of this season (Excluding GT).

Gujrat Titans are at the top of the table with Gill being in the Top 5 run-scorers of the tournament.

Underrated captain.
