On the other side, India gets every 2nd ICC event be it men's or women's. And the recent women's WC in India saw empty stadiums apart from India games.

It's a morning women's game b/w 2 low ranked teams at Old Trafford and there is already a sizeable crowd. Last night was almost a full house in opening game. And next 2 games today will see much bigger crowds as well. The people over there love cricket.

He has ended as New Zealand's leading run scorer in International Cricket amassing 19,346 runs across formats. He will be remembered among NZ greatest for sure 🥀

Personally as his fan since childhood, I wanted him to play the Cricket World Cup next year and then retire. At a bare minimum, he could have continued till the home summer this year and could have retired in front of his home fans at Bay Oval. But that's just the sad & shocking end of a gentleman's glorious career right in the middle of a Test series.
