خالد محمود کی خدمات صرف 1971ء کے ورلڈ کپ تک محدود نہیں رہیں بلکہ وہ کئی دیگر بین الاقوامی مقابلوں میں بھی پاکستان کی نمائندگی کر چکے ہیں۔ 1968ء کے میکسیکو اولمپکس میں وہ پاکستانی ٹیم کا حصہ تھے جس نے گولڈ میڈل جیتا تھا۔ 1970ء کے بینکاک ایشین گیمز میں بھی انہوں نے شاندار کارکردگی دکھائی، اور پاکستان نے ایک اور گولڈ میڈل اپنے نام کیا۔ انہوں نے کئی دیگر بین الاقوامی ٹورنامنٹس میں بھی پاکستان کی نمائندگی کی، جہاں ان کی مہارت اور قائدانہ صلاحیتوں نے ٹیم کی کامیابی میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔

Khalid Mehmood is a renowned Pakistani hockey player and administrator who led the national team in the first Hockey World Cup in 1971. Under his captaincy, Pakistan made history by defeating Spain 1-0 in the final and becoming world champions for the first time. This victory was nothing short of a grand celebration for Pakistan. When the team returned home, the streets of Lahore were filled with jubilant crowds. The excitement was so overwhelming that it felt like the entire nation was part of the triumph. Chief Minister Punjab Honors Pakistan Hockey Team for Azlan Shah Tournament Success

Chief Minister Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz Sharif, met with the Pakistan hockey team to celebrate their remarkable achievement of securing the silver medal at the prestigious Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament. Accompanied by Provincial Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, the Chief Minister acknowledged the team's dedication and exceptional performance on the international stage.

The 2nd Chief of Army Staff (COAS) National Inter-Club Hockey Championship will begin on December 20, 2025, while the final phase will take place from February 3 to 15, 2026, at Lahore’s National Hockey Stadium. Nearly 800 registered hockey clubs from across Pakistan will participate in this tournament, with the goal of promoting hockey at the grassroots level and nurturing young talent for the national team. 🇵🇰🔥
