This is called a patellar dislocation. The patella moves out of its normal groove, usually toward the outer side of the knee. It can cause sudden pain, swelling, a visible deformity, and difficulty moving or bearing weight.

Here’s how I help a patient with restricted Internal Rotation with Mobilisation with movement
The patient was diagnosed with Frozen Shoulder and therefore had a restricted internal rotation. To facilitate the movement, we used a combination of scapular mobilisation and active movement.
The goal of exercise wasn’t to force the shoulder into range, but to optimise scapulohumeral movement and make internal rotation more comfortable and functional.
