A look back at an incredible afternoon of connection and reflection. Normally, the Anatomy floor is dedicated to biomechanics and physical output. But for our exclusive workshop with Parindey, we shifted the focus entirely inward.

Through restorative sound frequencies and the fluidity of abstract art therapy, our community came together to build mental and emotional resilience. It was a beautiful reminder that true human optimization requires us to nourish the mind just as intentionally as we train the body.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their canvas, and embraced the vulnerability of the process.

Tension is the thief of velocity. In Soviet boxing mechanics, we understand a fundamental law: Reciprocal Inhibition.

When you are angry, your antagonist muscles contract. This creates a “brake” on your own movement, drastically reducing your Rate of Force Development (RFD). You are literally fighting against your own anatomy.

True striking power isn’t muscled; it is conducted. It relies on the Stretch-Shortening Cycle (SSC)—a whip-like transfer of kinetic energy starting from the floor, traveling through a relaxed chain, and snapping at the moment of impact.

To move fast, you must learn to turn your muscles off as well as on.

WHY YOUR BACK ROUNDS (And how to fix it) ⬇️

Most lifters think a rounding spine means they need a stronger lower back. In reality, they need active lats.

The Science Check: 🔬 The lats are the only muscles that connect the upper body (humerus) to the lower body (pelvis/fascia). Studies in Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology show that lat tension is the “key” to maintaining a neutral spine under heavy loads.

3 Steps to a Bulletproof Pull:

The Orange Squeeze: Imagine an orange in your armpits. Squeeze it hard enough to make juice. This creates the “Safety Belt” effect.

The Lat-to-Hip Connection: Keep the bar glued to your shins. If the bar drifts an inch away, the lever arm increases, and your lumbar will fold.

Long Arms, Heavy Hands: Think of your arms as hooks. Your lats do the bracing; your legs do the pushing.

Master the tension. Own the lift.
